To all:

First let me say thanks for all the help you've all given me.

This is my first time posting, but your previous posts have guided

us.

To give you a little background, my wife is German and

our K-3 visa case has begun to be processed in Frankfurt.

We received forms DS-230 (part I) and DS-156.

Our questions:

1) On form DS-156, question 22 asks when "When Do You Intend

To Arrive in the U.S.?" What does this mean? How my wife

put down dates, if her visa hasn't been approved? What dates

should we put down, when we "expect" to buy airline tickets?

2) Where and when do we get form DS-230 part II?

thanks for any help, comments, and suggestions,

Jpiza

We just put a few weeks after the interview date. that was fine at our consulate

Both parts were in our packet from the consulate, so I dont know about this. Maybe yours(consulate) has it at the time of interview, since your wife needs to sign it there ?? I would ask some ppl who have went through Frankfurt and see if they were given part II at the time of interview.

Good Luck on the interview :)

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!
