mohdiesel,

I am not familiar with the F1 student visa, however, in removing conditions you should:

1. sign and date the extra address page - both my husband and I dated and signed ours

2. I really don't think it matters who signs the cover letter, but if you look at the examples given here (click on the 'Example Forms' link) you will see that the USC has written the letter.

3. 40 photos, in my opinion, is quite a lot. At this stage, USCIS is looking for joint financial evidence and evidence of living a commingled life. Many people don't send any photos at all. IF you have a lot of other evidence, then I wouldn't send so many photos.

Why don't you post the rest of your evidence so people can help you better.

what u guys mean by attaching an extra page of address and being signed and dated?

where? with the cover letter?

sorry for the stupid question, but i m sending my papers tommorrow and i didnt attache no extra page for address

Part 3 of the I-751, titled Additional Information About You asks in question 9 if you have resided at different addresses since becoming a PR and if so to provide list of these places. My additional sheet read something like this:

I-751 Supplemental Information

Part 3, Additional Information About You, Question 9

(Then I typed out the question in full)

Address Duration

xxx xxx to xxx

xxx

xxx xxx to xxx

xxx

Then both my husband (USC) and I signed and dated it.

I didn't send in a cover letter...

the cover letter is just to make it easier for the person going through your file to see what you have included.. so just make a list like you have done above.. and sign and date if you want.. doesn't really matter who signs it..

Your joint tax, lease, banking, utility bills and car insurance are all really good evidence. The only thing I would suggest you add is information about a health plan where one of you lists the other as a dependent or if you have any document listing the other as a beneficiary. If you want to send a few photos along, then go ahead, but my suggestion would be to make them speak to your other evidence.

Show photos of you with the people who wrote your affidavits (and put them with the affidavits) or show a couple of photos of the vacations you took together that you are also providing evidence on. Also put those photos with that evidence.

The cover letter is completely optional. Just omit the line about the K1 visa if you like then you don't have to explain yourself too much. They will have all of that on record anyway.

Good luck!

i just want a real answer!

i have an American bf and he wants to get me a visit visa so that i could get there easily and it just takes a short time. i am a FILIPINA. HE planned that if i get there at KANSAS, we will get married and change my visa into spousal visa.

my question is, is it possible we could marry there even though i just have a visit visa? could he petition a spousal visa from a visit visa?

thanks in advance! "SALAMAT"

If he proposes marriage and files K-1 fiance visa that is the shortest honest route.

Your plan for visit visa but then intending to marry during the 'visit' is illegal, and one reason it is so difficult for persons from PI [and many other places] visit visa's. It is also illegal, as you are misrepresenting your purpose for 'visiting.'

If you love each other, do the right but not easiest thing, file the K-1. Good luck!

It is against the law to enter the US as a tourist with the intention to adjust status. If someone comes to the US and spontaneously decides to get married and adjusts status that's a different story.

You could still come here as a tourist and get married but would have to return to your home country afterwards until your spousal visa gets approved.
