Women accused of plot to feed roommate to pigs

JOLEEN CHANEY REPORTING

DUNCAN, OK -- In a stunning case in Stephens County a woman is accused of attacking her roommate and plotting to feed his body to pigs.

Three people are now behind bars after kidnapping and beating the man in August 2008. It began after the woman accused her roommate of abusing her daughter and authorities say she designed an elaborate scheme to get rid of the man, but it did not go as planned.

"He's lucky to be alive," Stephens County District Attorney Bret Burns said.

Lawmen say the victim was tied up and beaten with a baseball bat as his attackers tried to decide how to dispose of his body.

Tonya Brown accused the victim of abusing her three-year-old daughter after he babysat her, but Brown later admitted to police those accusations were false. It was a plan authorities say she used to lure Michael Garrett, Worth Martin, and Adrian Hunsucker to kidnap the victim with the intentions to kill him.

"They talked about burning him alive. They talked about dumping him over a bridge," Burns said. "They also talked about feeding him to hogs to dispose of him."

Hunsucker agreed to testify against the others, and in an interview tells investigators what went on the night of the abduction.

"They were talking about doing away with him," Hunsucker told officials.

"Killing him," an investigator said.

"Yes," Hunsucker said. "She said she just got off the phone with somebody."

"When you say 'she' who are you talking about," an investigator said.

"Tanya. She said she just got off the phone with someone who had a hog farm," Hunsucker said.

Hunsucker also said when the owner of the hog farm did not call back, they loaded up the victim and brought him to a rural area of the county and planned to either throw him over a bridge or set him on fire.

"She wanted to weigh him down and just throw him off it," Hunsucker said. "I could hear him say don't burn me."

Brown's attorney declined to comment. She and two of her accomplices were sentenced to prison on kidnapping and assault and battery charges April 27, but officials are still looking for Worth Martin.

MasterBlaster run Bartertown.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
