My fiance is there NOW, waiting on enoding process. SOMEONE is telling her she needs her I-129F approval letter which displays the bar-code and her MNL case number. She KNOWS her Manila case number but she does not have that letter!

All she has is the E-MAIL, with her USEM Appointment Confirmation Number...NOT THE SNAIL MAIL copy, JUST the e-mail copy we both got.

That APPOINTMENT CONFIRMATION should be sufficient, right?!!!

Thanks eveyone.

Did she show her papers to the guard? When u said "someone is telling her she needs the approval letter",who's that someone? When i had my medical, there were other applicants that were allowed to have their medical even without the appointment letter from USEM,all they had was the email confirmation and their case number, unless they are stricter now.

Tell her to just go straight to the guard or to the SLEC staff, dont listen to other people there who dont know what they're talking about.

Tell her t..dont listen to other people there who dont know what they're talking about.

I stayed on the horn with her while the clerk verified all her papers. TRUE DAT is RIGHT.

Yes, the guard had already looked at the letter, and let her in. That was all she needed, other

than the passport and photos we already also knew about.

Panic OVER. THanks!

She could go thru the guard and information with just the email copy, even without the NOA2 or approved I-129F. She just sign the waiver/form that she did not brought her NOA2.

I did not have my NOA2 when i had my medical. But they allowed me to go thru the process.

Yes, I am going to make sure of that when we prep this week.

Good Choice prepping her about listening to you and don't pay much attention to what other say or claim to know.

When my wife was getting close to finishing Nursing school, She had so many people tell her she needed to take the Local Licensing in PI before she would be able to take NCLEX.

I've been playing the part of an agressive CO over several chat sessions now. This week, we'll just re-inforce everything for that day. ONE more WEEK.

CO part is usually a piece of cake, and they only ask basic questions, especially K1 Visas, I doubt the actual interview will be more than 3 to 5 minutes.

I was there last summer and we had about 75 marriage base Visa Interviews that day, I asked the gaurd if it was slow / normal / busy day, and he said slow days.

So they process a massive amount of Marriage Base Visas each year. I was actually kinda surprised how many people had interviews just for marriage visas.
