What agency has anyone used to have their degree/s evaluated?

I have also been research which agency/company to use to have my BA evaluted to an American comparable. The Los Angeles Unified School District recommends the Internation Education Research Foundation www.ierf.org, I was curious as to what other folks have used as the price varies from $ 45.00 to $ 160.00 also what forms of documentation also ie: 1 - 2 sets of your offical transcripts either submitted in some cases or actually send by the university, notorized copy of actual degree to just a photocopy. Anyone been through this process yet or thought about it?

http://www.educationinternational.org/procedure.htm I used them to evaluate my Cdn High school transcript. They were super fast. I had the paperwork back, before my cheque had even cashed. And they were very prompt in replying to my emails.

I was given 5 days to return my evaluation and they were convenient because you can do everything online and over the computer (ie: attach and email documents, pay online, receive emailed copy of completed eval before mailed copy was received). I paid $95.00 for a degree evaluation that didn't include course by course evaluation.

Though, if the company/school district requests a particular company, its best just to go with what they ask. Some places can be very picky about which service you choose. And, when you request it, they should ask which institution is requesting the information. That way the company knows exactly what information to include on the evaluation.

I used WES - it was for my university transcripts and it was the only one that the school I was applying to would accept. They were good and professional and quick. But it was about 5 years ago.
