Place an official inquiry !!! do they work on it

Hi everyone,

My wife place an official inquiry on 15th of March as our file seems to be outside processing time. they approved our inquiry and send letter showing details of file and mentioned that they will work out in 60 days.

Do they work as mentioned in letter or are they take more time ???

Please do answer if you have any idea.....

Well, I did a "service request".. I got a canned response letter a few weeks later that said "your case is still pending". The same info that was available on the website at the time.

I would hope that an inquiry would yield better results.

The only way I got any detailed information on our case was through a congressional inquiry. They did tell them what step we were in along the way. IE-"not assigned to an officer", "in the adjudication que" and then "with an officer"

i got letter should i contact congressman before 60 days. or they will work in 60 days time period.

You can contact them now if you like. You certainly dont have to wait until after the 60 days.
