Can a petitioner cancel a petition a few weeks before a IR1 interview.

depends on the state the petition in and the reason for cancelling

for instant , if petitoner die ..marital status changed , divorce occured and the petitons at USCIS or NVC u can call and cancel it easily ..even if on the embassy level ..cal NVC and they will cancel the interview and kill the whole process

please be more specific and give informations so u get a specific answer

i hope u can both working things out

but as of wht u said ..IR-1 visa interview is set by the NVC ...please call NVC as u get the chance to (monday )

and also to make sure and win time please send an immediate E-mail to the embassy that will handle the Interview ..and mention the case number and the intention to terminate the relation ..and they will cancel the Interview no doubt as the base the Interview made for is terminated ...

no she cant

ONLY if she is with u in the states she could use evidence against u not to be deported or so

but as long as she didnt yet enter the states so u can simply cancel the process ...

just call NVC AND also send the embassy an E-mail ..stating ur intention to terminate the relation for some reasons ...

and it will be cancelled as ur wife wnt be eligible anymore to have such visa ...so why they would conduct even an intrview ...thts wht im saying

ok its a bit too harsh i love her and both my kids are USC they have been USC form weeks after birth and she is a good woman so i am just angry for being caught in a compromising position and they woman is my ex yea but the now messes with a cous but they told my wife its me and her and a hole lot of bs. How i am to blame she left messages on my phone.

Thanks a lot no where man. see their is not too many people i can talk to because most of them give the first option and that because my wife is a very serious persona and always has my best interest at heart . I often fell because iam here alone people take advantage of me and like that they don't want her to com i am a pretty easy going person my wife is the fire in my life the driving fore behind every thing i have my business. She is also god fearing and very loving but they all hate her for no reason they think i believe too much in her and i fell that they all set this up to destroy my marriage. my family. they mad that i head over heal in love with my wife.

i know wht u r saying ...my wife is the USC and she is BLESS and her family are loving me and wait for me ..but as we all know ...every case is different (thanks to USCIS which learned us that term LOL )

if u believe in her and she is too good as u r saying ..then just ignore whts happening and go a head ..

be smart ..be careful and keep ur secrets between u and ur wife only (an advise )

let her know she is the one and u will work hard to prevent any futur similar issues ..

ITS JUST few steps and u be together and handle it both ...so make it happen ...

talk to her ..show her u love her alot and seek her kindness ..womens are kind when true love is showed ...

WHC here is a woman 2 cents. if you love her with all your heart, nobody else matters of what they think or say!!

Never give up on the things you love, never, its a regret you will live with all your life. And nobody should have to live with that,

we all say things out of anger, and never mean them. Its natural to talk out of anger, its our shields to protect ourselves, but there is NO shield to protect the heart.

I say don't cancel the petition as yet. Try talking to your wife and see if she will work things out. Don't just give up. It's going to be okay. I am so sorry. I know that people can be so mean sometimes. The year that my husband and i got married, there were all sorts of rumors cause people will do that but i had toi learn to ignore the rumors and i am glad that i did cause my husband is here now and he is very loving and we are very happy. Dont' let this destroy your marriage you have come too far. Don't give up.. Keep talking to your wife.
