Hi everyone. I am about to send my AOS forms and I have a question about the attachment for my I-864 Affidavit of Support. It says there to include evidence such as paystubs which is the six (6) previous months. My husband just got his job this April 2009 and we only have one paystub yet... we are sending the AOS forms next week. Is it ok to send just 1 paystub instead of the paytubs from 6 previous months?

Thank you for your answers in advance...

Just a suggestion....maybe your husband could get his employer to write a letter stating the start date of his employment with them and what his salary will be (monthly, bi weekly, weekly, etc). Hope this helps. :)

I suggest to just attach the IRS transcript so that you don't need to submit paystubs, w2's, and 1040s anymore cos they're all the in the IRS if you filed tax return last year.

current paystubs are a good idea to prove the present income. employer letters are typically submitted as well. With a brand new job that would be essential in proving the 2009 income.

IRS transcripts are the preferred way to show prior years' income.

Tax returns do not include pay stubs and do not verify current income. If he had another job before this, include those paystubs. An employer letter is also good.
