Evelyn - Keep up the good work with breastfeeding I am thinking na in our second baby, I will try my very best para i-breastfeed ang baby. Second month check-up ni Evie today. Bago pediatrician nya kasi di kami satisfied do'n sa unang pediatrician. Sabi ng doktor, as much as possible at least daw hanggang 6 months ang breastfeeding dahil mas malaki ang tyansa na di magkaka-food allergy ang baby.

Yon nga eh...kahit 6 months lang sana basta ma breastfeed ko si Jacob kasi iba pa rin yong nutrients ng human milk. Ang problema 2 days na ako na merong hives (not sure with the spelling) super ang lalaki tsaka ang kakapal sa balat ko. Hubby wants me to take Syrtec...ang ginagawa ko pina pump ko yong milk ko tapos tinatapon ko na lang para tuloy-tuloy yong supply.[u/] Tomorrow my emergency appt din kami for the baby kasi gawa ng pusod nya..para kasing may amoy..tigas kasi ang ulo ng asawa ko sabi wag paliguan hanggat hindi natatanggal ang pusod aba paliguan ba naman hayyyy...

evelyn wag mong tapon pagkatapos mo i pump bili ka ng breastmilk storage bag ilagay mo sa freezer tapos lagyan mo ng date i froze mo good for 6month un. then puede mo ipadede yun sa baby mo then pag pinadede mo na good for 8 hours yung milk bago mapanis. yan ginagawa ko para pagaalis kami pinapadede ko sa kanya pagnasa public place lagay ko sa bote

ting, ngayon ko lang nalaman na pwede pa lang i-freeze yung milk for the baby.

Hello VJ'ers..

From the start of this topic,I told myself I am not going to read this until I am pregnant,,and now obviously I am dahil nagpost nako at last sa topic nato.. I feel a little awkward dahil layo na naabot nang topic nito,pero kinapalan ko nalang mukha ko dahil excited akong subra sa coming baby namin.. Yesterday lang namin nalaman na buntis pala ako, I thought period ko parating dahil ang symptoms same lang,except sa cramping na akala ko my cycle na talaga ako,but lang lumabas,kaya bumili kami nang pregnancy test. Tatlo ginamit namin lahat yon positive Subrang happy ko dahil akala ko hindi ako madaling buntisin kasi nga yon sabi nang doctor nong nasa Pilipinas pako dahil hormonal imbalance ako. Pero ngayon,,I am very very very happy to tell you guys na magiging nanay nako soon.

Schedule naming mapacheck-up sa doctor ngayong Wednesday,sana ang lahat saking at sa baby ko,kahit dugo pa to, excited na talaga ako, kain nako nang kain dahil ayaw kong magutom baby ko..

Sana ok lang sa inyo na nakikipost ako dito

Your carpal-tunnel will go away after a few more days. Ask your doc about pain-relievers that you can take even if breastfeeding.

My 2-hour post-meal levels have been fine so far. Do I go completely sugar-free? Not! Testing again in about 20 mins. My back pain has returned tonight...is frustrating, really. At least the laundry isn't so wrinkled...

Ikaw talaga doc matigas din pala ang ulo mo, makinig ka nga sa aming mga pasyente mo LOL! (baliktad na eh noh ). Maganda din talaga na nagbubuntis ka na kasama mo asawa mo kasi may katulong ka din sa paggawa ng mga chores at may tagamasahe ka pa pag may masakit sayo

Bakit kaya dito sa US uso ang Carpal-tunnel, tas sa Pinas hindi naman? Hmm, siguro meron ding may mga carpal sa Pinas kaya lang hindi alam ng mga taong meron nun kasi hindi rin nagpapadoktor dahil mahal magpadoktor hehe. Ewan ko, huwag makinig sa akin, sarili ko lang na conclusion yun lol!

I would like to say that my stubborness is inherent...like most docs Am still forbidden from going down to the basement to do the laundry, though. But di ko ma-take yung gusot ng mga damit (tini-type ko ito sa tagalog kasi binabasa ng asawa ko ang mga post dito...baka mag-tampo ). My sugar has been fine, a couple of elevations that I would presume to be due to inadequate fluids, but on the average is normal No, I have not given up my occasional Snickers bar nor my mocha mudslide ice cream

Carpal-tunnel does occur in the PHils...am a living witness to that. My brother diagnosed me all the way from Singapore on my symptoms alone. The pain did not disappear till about a couple of weeks post-partum.

Evelyn - oo nga, kamo mag-aral na lang sya...although being a part-time model ain't bad, too! BTW, do you apply alcohol to the pusod? It hastens drying of the stump. My mother would bathe Alec...avoiding the stump, of course, then apply alcohol to it.

ting - I think kaya nya tinatapon kasi she is taking Zyrtec. But otherwise, if she isn't on any drugs, it's okay to breastfeed.

Am excited to get the nursery all set up

Riza - 15 lbs. na si baby ngayon and he's 3 1/2 months old. Around 3 weeks ago napansin namin that most of the time that we feed him he chew the nipple of his bottle and he drools a lot, his gum seems puffy and he suddenly wakes up in the middle of the night screaming like he's in pain. On sunday we saw a tooth coming out and today there are 2 more. awang-awa talaga ako pag umiiyak sya. right now, we just give him tylenol or orajel for baby.

If you have any suggestion(s) of how to soothe the teething pain is greatly appreciated.

Orajel should be good. And a teether. Should start on cereals soon...ask your pedia.

I labor last october 28, 2009 at 12:55 am.

36 weeks and 2 days lang si Baby but healthy siya Thank God.

I had the C-section. Nagpapa breast feed din ako. Kaya lang masakit pa ang incision ko but I am doing the best I can para sa Baby.

Ganito pala ang TUNAY na INA.....masarap na mahirap.

I am welcoming my self sa THE WORLD OF NEVER ENDING CAHNGING OF DIAPER.

Bukas pa kami makakauwi. We are still in the hospital.

Evelyn - Anong hives ibig mo sabihin? Natatawa naman ako sa discharge experience nyo Grabe talaga security ng hospitals dito which is maganda dahil mas secure tayo na hindi mananakaw ang baby

Very glad that I am pregnant, paranoid din dahil di pa ako na check nang doctor hanggang ngayon kahit nurse WALA (lumipat kasi kami dito sa may bukid nang Massachusetts ) dahil nga daw di nila ako titignan until I get 8 weeks? depressed and stress akong subra, kaya balik Indianapolis,Indiana kami nang hubby ko next week.
