evelyn~~thank you again sa payo, im trying now to just relax and dont stress myself out. do whatever things i need to do in preparation for my coming home...you're right, bmtrrbt is so kalog! lol..she makes me laugh too even during my "sad moment" day dahil sa negative result. pero maganda daw yan sa buntis pag masayahin, nakakatulong din daw yan na marelax pareho si mommy and baby...

riza~~ayoko na nga i-pressure sarili ko eh, wait na lang ako na dumating yung time para sa amin. kaya pag may magtanong ulit kung buntis na ba ako sabihin ko triplets binubuo namin kaya matagal..lol..anyway, malapit na talaga lumabas si baby...we're all happy and excited for you guys.

ryandgracey~~salamat sa advice, i've been taking fertility supplement for 5-7 months now and prenatal vitamins for 2 months but did not still worked. siguro hindi pa talaga time for us to have a baby. and who knows magaya ako sayo, buntis agad pagdating diyan kasi baka sa sala pa lang "papakin" na agad ako ng asawa ko nakakabuan ba talaga? lol. ok lang yan basta my baby...gusto ko pa nga twins para isang anakan lang hahaha! sabi naman ng asawa ko, "you dont know what you're asking for" malaki kasi asawa ko 6'2 1/2 ft. samantalang ako 5'2 lang kaya worried to death siya for two reasons, 1st im too small to have a twins in my tummy and 2nd he's afraid na magkatotoo hiling ko, kasi pareho kaming my lahing kambal. he have twin brothers and i have 2 twins first cousins. bahala na! hahaha!

Kami ni hubby active pa rin. Tama ka as long as no bleeding involve eh safe. Pero may nabasa ako na safe naman yun during pregnancy kasi ang layo naman ni baby and protected by placenta..hehehehehe. Hanapin ko yung magazine na ibinigay sa akin sa hospital tapos post ko dito yung info pero yung ibang mga mommies i know may insights din sila about this.

make the most out of it kasi pagkapanganak nyo specially if you will have episiotomy, it will take 4-6 weeks yung iba 2 months before you can have sex again. It was funny cause my hubby was doing the countdown

hi sa lahat ng mga buntis, pasali naman sa topic na e2 . I'm 5 weeks pregnant now based on my calculation. I have mixed emotions, half happy and a little bit worried kc this is my second pregnancy but i have miscarriaged last dec. 08 and i was only 6 weeks pregnant at that time. The pain was still fresh in my mind and i don't know if i fully overcome the pain. It really traumatized me. I never expect to get pregnant as we are using withdrawal (hubby doesn't like me to use any kind of contraceptive) and i'm fully aware that withdrawal is not 100% safe kaya ayun may nabuo. Kung natuloy lang sana yong first pregnancy ko, my baby would be due this month mahahawakan ko na sana sya any days from now. Anyway, i'm happy and excited again kahit medyo wala pa sa plano ko mabuntis ulit kc i'm planning to continue my nursing this fall and i'm reviewing my CNA state board exam now to become license/certified CNA and start looking for job hopefully. ewan ko ba happy na sad pero more on happiness even my hubby is super excited 5 weeks pa nga lang itong tiyan ko. Guys, you are always in my prayers kc ang pagbubuntis ay hindi basta- basta. sana pray nyo rin ako na tuloy2 na eto. God Bless us all.

WOW ang haba na ng topic natin..umabot na sa "active thing " hehehehe. Kami hindi na masyado kahit nong maliit pa ang tyan ko..natatakot kasi kami baka mapisa sa loob si baby. Asawa ko naman very understanding so walang problema..ok na yong yakap-yakap sa aming dalawa Sa akin wala naman sinasabi yong OB ko abut may health..everytime i had my prenantal sinasabi lang nila na everything is perfect daw. Dalawa yong tumitingin sakin..isang RN tsaka isang OB-GYN although I'm a bit sad kasi sa duedate ko ibang Dr. naman yong naka-assign sakin kasi yong OB ko ngayon eh hindi yata available and one more thing pa ha...di pa pag malapit ka na manganak dapat weekly na yong prenatal schedule mo? Yong sa kin kasi they scheduled mo on Oct 7 then yong next na eh sa EDD ko which is Oct 30...hayyy kakaloka talaga.

Pink normal lang yang utot ng utot ka hehehehe. Before nong di pa ako buntis nahihiya pako umutot sa harap ng asawa ko..pero nong preggy na hala sige bira..hirap kaya pigilang nyan.

Super kung ma-miss making love with my husband kung ganon katagal Sana may bayabas tree dito dahil sa pagkaka-alam ko napaka-effective no'ng dahon para madaling maghilom ang sugat. Placentas usually start low but as the uterus enlarges, nahihila pataas. So, you may be placenta previa or partial placenta previa now but as your pregnancy progresses it won't be. Placenta previa means that the placenta is presenting at the opening of the uterus. It may be partial, meaning just a part of it is at the opening, or it may be total, meaning it completely covers the opening. If at the time of delivery the placenta remains covering the opening, a CS is preferable to prevent bleeding. the placenta is the baby's lifeline till born so that if the placenta is delivered first or bleeds, that would threaten the baby.

Now about that excessive internal air...yes that is normal, again (no) thanks to mixed up hormones. Can't really avoid it but can be lessened by not eating foods that can cause gassiness...including carbonated drinks (I don't care, really and continue to indulge at times in my favorite caffeine-free, low-calorie rootbeer/coke/grape soda).

marjo2008 - you need to take it easy...bawal magpagod, bawal magbuhat. And go for your prenatal already. hope this time around will be to term.

unique - my hubby's grandpa revealed to us a history of a lot of twins in his family. and the moment i got that first ultrasound, tinawagan ko kaagad and told him he can expect just one great-grandchild and not two. I think it lies more on the mother if she has a twin or has twin siblings.

Go go go ka na pala Riza. And yeah we are having a baby boy Buti na lang may meron tayong medical practitioner dito who can explain us yong mga medical term na yan. Thanks Gracey Last night pala ang sakit ng tummy ko mga 12 am na yata yon di ako makatulog...naku kala ko lalabas na si Baby ng dis oras..buti na lang yong undesirable stuff lang pala sa loob ng tyan ko yong cause. Kumain kasi ako ng isda eh pinagbabawalan ako ng asawa ko...sabi nya gawa daw ng isda yon..palibhasa he doesn't eat anything from the ocean. He is telling me that his boy don't like fish too. Pero sa totoo lang natatakot din ako kasi ayaw ko pa rin naman na lumabas si baby ng di oras.Kaya may tanong ako...ano ba cause ng preterm labor. I have a very easy pregnancy pero di rin natin alam kung anong pwedeng mangyari.

Siguro Gracey can explain the causes of preterm labor. As far as I can remember sinabihan ako ng OB ko na uminom ng maraming tubig (at least 1 gallon/day) specially summer dito at disyerto pa, dahil pag na-dehydrate daw, malaking posibilidad na I will have a preterm labor. Yon din nangyari sa officemate ng asawa ko, dahil sa dehydration nagka preterm labor. But I am pretty sure, madami pa causes, di lang dehydration

hi Riza kumusta, malapit ka na pala manganak naku excited ako para sa iyo sa Scottsdale ako pero we used to go to " city of grace" sa may mesa. Kung natuloy sana ung first pregnancy ko this month din sana labas nya but i'm happy now coz God blessed me another one. Be safe always, God bless you and ur baby.

Mga mommies may nararamdaman din pa kayo sa isa sa mga ito kasi ito yung mga nararanasan ko

1. Nararamdaman kung parang lumulutang sa hangin yung tiyan ko, ewan ko ba ang hirap eexplain kung anu to.

2. Feeling uneasy ako.

3. Feeling ko parang mahuhulog ang baby ko anytime, ewan kung paranoid lang ba ako.

4. Abnominal pains, minsan lang naman tsaka napakamild lang.

5. Di mapakali.

6. Walang ganang kumain minsan. May times na super lamon ako pero some days ala talagang gana, pinipilit ko lang sarili kung kumain.

7. Feeling sinisikmura.

8. Still throwing up.

Hay ito pa lang so far yung naisip ko pero naranasan ko na lahat yan. Minsan umiiyak nalang ko ako kasi nahihirapan na din ako.

Well, thank you Keep in mind though that I am not an OB; am just picking stuff from my brain that i can recall from medschool and internship. Pre-term labor...can be due to a lot of causes. One is stress. Another is sudden withdrawal of certain hormones that control the pregnant state. Which is why we pregnant ladies can't get tired or stressed out. Of course, there are times that it just happens and we can't do anything about it. While it is common or nomal to feel mild contractions from time to time, if it happens too often, one should just drop everything and lay back and rest. Or the OB may recommend observation at the hospital and have the contractions monitored as well as the fetal heartbeat. Some cases, it resolves by itself with or without medication. Other cases, it goes into active labor. Again, these are from my memory banks. You can discuss these with your OB for further info.

Frosty...the feeling na parang malalaglag yung bata or some sharp pain may be round ligament pain. The round ligament is one of the things that supports the uterus. As your uterus stretches to accomodate the growing baby, this ligament may be pulled on, thus producing the pain. It's not pleasant, i know, but may be resolved with rest with or without pain relievers (i.e. acetaminophen like tylenol). Your swings in appetite is normal...ganyan din ako till now. That and your morning sickness si due to high level of hormones that the baby produces which will level out soon. The "sinisikmura" thingy...is it like reflux na mahapdi? That is normal, too. I think pink had that. Less acidic/spicy/fatty food including carbonated drinks and small frequent feeding and some Maalox or Tums can help.

i dont eat oily foods before, nasusuka ako, pero ngayon i eat tapa and longanisa with the oil!

i love lechon kawali with all the fats and crunchy skin! wuah!

i wake up every 3 hours at night, kakainis. wiwi ng wiwi!

and there are times na i can't understand kung anong nararamdaman ko...

hay buntis ...

and many times im wishing im back home in Pinas =(
