Btw mga mommies, I have been experiencing a little bit of twitching in my tummy, yon para bang pino-poke ng karayom. I think part na eto ng labor stage although di pa talaga masakit. Sabi ng husband ko, may hinala siya na this week lalabas ang baby. We'll see

then yesterday..sumipa sya so i asked my baby what do you want..sipa na naman..then i said do you wanna drink milk? then sipa ulit...then tapos kung uminom ng gatas...nagtanong ako do you love mommy? ay nako di na sumipa...kainis...hehhehehe.

pero i love my baby so much.

Hay naku kaninang umaga pa ako nag rereply dito..kahaba haba na nong na type ko eh biglang na reboot yong laptop hindi ko na tuloy ipinag patuloy yong reply ko. anyways...don sa nag try mag kababy i timing mo kung kailan ka mag ovulate..parang 14 days yata yon after your period..ang wag masyadong malungkot kasi baka lalo kang ma stress nyan and try to take folic acid now

Wag ka mag alala kahit manganak na kaming lahat eh dito pa rin kami That time siguro about babies na naman ang topic

thanks evelyn, im trying to make myself happy now and let the dissapoinment and stress go...also, i am taking prenatal (this one can be taking before, during and after pregnancy) and multivitamins with high folic acid. im even eating cereal that has a high folic acid in it. yun yong ginagawa namin ng asawa ko, counts the ovulation calendar kaya akala namin nakabuo na kame...hindi pa pala...

Btw...nasa Ph ka pa pala..I think your hubby is right mas maganda na nasa tabi mo sya while your pregnant para pareho nyong ma enjoy yong pregnancy mo. Kasama mo sya sa lahat ng check up and tapos pag gumalaw na yong baby sa tummy mo nandyan din sya sa tabi mo:) Tapos kung kailangan mo ng massage kasi minsan nandyan sya palagi

Kami naman ng asawa ko 3 months din nag try bago ako nabuntis..and yes it is very frustrating na after madelay ka ng ilang days kala mo buntis ka na tapos pag pt mo negative naman pala. Maganda yan na nagte-take ka na ng prenatal vitamins.

oo nandito pa ako sa pinas, but our interview is scheduled on september, and we're hoping and praying that we get approved and finally be home before the month ends. those are the reasons why my husband wants us to wait till i get to the US lalo na first baby namin...so gusto niya talaga na nandiyan sa palagi sa tabi ko...pag nandito nga naman ako mahirap...

thats what my husband keeps telling me...enjoy the times while im still here most specially spend more time with my family...

kami naman ng hubby ko di talaga nag try na magbuntis...kasi we did withdrawal...ayoko kasi mag pills kasi may side effects yun...but there were few times na naga all the way kami kasi nga ginaganahan hahhahaha...kaya yun nabuntis ako...and akala ko nga di na ko mabubuntis kasi 50 years old na hubby ko and for all those years wala sya naging anak kasi ayaw nya mag kaanak sa taong di nya truly love kaya nag wait lang sya for the right person and ako yun yehey hehhehe.

nasa pinas ka pa pala kaya wag muna magmadali kasi mahirap na...mas mabuti ng nandito ka na kung buntis ka na...

and about sa papsmear...nope di yan masakit medyo weird lang...forcep ang gagamitin sayo para ipasok yun thing...depende siguro kung ibubuka ng malaki yung speculum sa ehem mo masakit talaga pero sa akin di masyadong masakit kasi di naman masyadong binuka talaga ehem ko hehehhehehe...

and dahil nasa pinas ka pa...try mo pahilot...ewan ko anong gagawin ng manghihilot pero parang nilalagay nila sa tamang place yung matres mo kung mababa matres mo...ewan ko kung ganun talaga...merong ibang tao nagpapahilot...try mo rin yun.

am not really into that (bonding with kapitbahay) hindi kasi ako mahilig lumabas...right now, im trying to spend more time with my family and relatives....dalaw sa grandma & grandpa things like that while still here...

anyway, nakakatuwa naman talaga basahin yong mga stories nyo about your babies kicking inside your tummy...i can imagine how happy you are...malapit ka na pala manganak...ingat palagi and have a safe delivery

Parang nakaka-add din ang pressure sa pagbubuntis. Madami kami kakilala dito na ilang years na rin married at gustong2x magka-anak pero nauna pa kami. In our case, di talaga namin pinaplano na ganito kaaga. Isang araw, na-surprised na lang kami

anyway, nakakatuwa naman talaga basahin yong mga stories nyo about your babies kicking inside your tummy...i can imagine how happy you are...malapit ka na pala manganak...ingat palagi and have a safe delivery

Ako naman about that pap smear..naku alam nyo ba na hindi ako nag papap smear...natakot kasi ako don sa aparatus hehehehe. Eh sabi naman ng asawa ko kung di daw ako comfortable wag ko na lang daw gawin. Tapos nong first prenatal ko..dapat vaginal ultrasound din...hala sabi ko don sa Nurse ayaw ko rin gusto ko yong sa tyan lang kasi ano ba naman yong mga aparatus nila nakakatakot hehhehe. Tapos nong second visit ko sabi nong nurse kailangan may deal daw kami..i-ultrasound nya daw ako kung papayag daw ako na tingnan nya yong cervix ko ..yon yong papasok nya daliri nya sa loob...naku tagal nya akong napapayag.Kung di lang ako buntis ayaw ko talaga gawin yon. 32 nako ni minsan hindi pako nag pa pap smear.

Maraming salamat sis Evelyn. Yun talaga ang dalangin ko na mawala na ang morning sickness ko kasi minsan nahihirapan na din ako.

Nakakatawa ka naman about pap smear, sabi nga ng byanan kung babae basta buntis ka eh mawawala na talaga privacy mo kasi naman titingnan at titingnan din yan ng doctor mo..hehehehehe..Ako nung first pre natal check ako nagpapap smear kasi nirequire ng OBGYN ko tsaka hindi naman talaga masakit sis at mabilis lang. About naman sa vaginal ultrasound naranasan ko on my first ultra sound kasi 7 weeks pa lang ako nun at gustong echeck ng OBGYN ko kung okay lang ba si baby. Hindi naman masakit tsaka di ko nalang pinapansin kasi yung mga mata ko eh nasa monitor, sa baby namin..hehehehehe..Kaya sis masanay kana, sabi ko nga asawa ko hindi nalang siya ang nakakaita sa akin ng h***d ngayon hehehehehe, sabi niya eh ayaw niya man daw eh wla siyang magagawa kasi part talaga pregnancy yun..hehehehehe..

Tama ka sis pressured ka din..Kami nga noon pagkatapos ng kasal namin eh tinanung agad kami kung nakabuo na. Diyos na mahabagin di naman ganun kadali noh..lol..Mga kakilala namin kapag nakikita kami eh yun agad ang tinatanung. Sinasabihan nalang minsan ng asawa ko na, we want our baby to be perfect like me that's why were still practising..Mokong tlaga..hehehehehe..Kaya nung nabuntis ako naku parang bulkan na sumabog kung kumalat yung balita..hahahahaha

Sis bmtrrbt napapatawa mo ako. Alam mo ang asawa ko ganun din. 37 years old na pero nku parang 12 years old..lol..Lagi lang akong tumatawa tsaka ang hilig mamikon, madali rin kasi akong pikunin. Tsaka alam niyo ba kinausap niya anak namin baka siya umalis papuntang trabaho na dapat sipain daw ako ng anak namain tuwing 9am para gumising ako ng maaga..Loko loko talaga..akala niya eh ganun lang kadali..hehehehe..Pero nakakatuwa din.

Haay...i'm back. Feeling ko ang tagal ko nawala. Been visiting with my uncle and aunt up in Kent and keeping the house neat and clean for future prospective home-buyers. My americana aunt has been kind enough to stay with our li'l girl when I give birth in December. That's one worry down.

unique - don't pressure yourself. ganyan din si evelyn nun but it finally happened. So will it be the same with you...it'll happen when God sees it's the right time to happen. parang kaming mag-asawa. I took fertility agents in preparation for his RP visits but walang nangyari. Then as soon as I stepped on US soil (and into his bed )...ayun...buo kaagad. and timely, too kasi advanced maternal age na ako. So just hang in there and enjoy each other. Once you have a child...baka mabuang ka, lalo kung makulit and magaling mag-rason.

Frosty - i'm sorry you're still having morning sickness. eat small and frequently and stay away from those food that make you nauseous...nothng oily, deifnitely. fruits should help with that.

ryanriza- you'll know you're in labor when the cramping gets more intense and longer with each episode. Have you attended a birthing class? Once the contractions get like 20 mins apart...ospital na. Or you can check in the moment you start labor and walk around the corridors with hubby. how many weeks are you?

Pink - good to know your li'l one is making his presence felt. Mine has been kicking up a storm for the past few weeks na. I've had a baby already so that I've felt the baby's movements earlier than expected. Is a lot more active at nightime but can kick me awake in the morning, too. Seems we may be having a future soccer/football player. I can now pick up his/her heartbeat too with my cardio-stethoscope, much to my delight , but pag nakapaharap, i can't hear a thing.

Am anxiously awaiting next weeks ultrasound. Hope baby cooperates.

About the overall baby clothes na pinag-uusapan, they call it "onesies" here. Lahat ng mommies na kakilala namin dito, yan ang number one na ni-recommend kasi mas easier isuot and comfy daw para sa baby. Onesies are not really expensive. Isa pa, pag nag baby shower kayo, I'm sure meron magreregalo sa inyo nyan, specially if you included it in your baby registry. We registered at Babies R Us and Target. Mas madami kayong makikita sa Babies R Us kay sa Target, although medyo mahal pero di naman malaki masyado ang price difference. We got a lot of baby stuff during my baby shower, nakakatulong talaga sa budget We've already setup our nursery room, although meron pa konting kelangan gawin, but 95% ready na.

Budget tips pala to get baby's basic stuff: Craigslist! After the baby shower, my husband and I checked what were the important things that the baby needs na di namin nakuha from the baby shower, then we searched it on Craigslist. We got our baby's changing table for only $20 that perfectly matches our crib. It is in a very good condition and very usable. The person who sold it only used the table for 3 months.

Btw, mga Mommies, musta na pala nursery rooms ninyo?

Lemme see what I got on craigslist...40 pcs of onesies (all white or neutral) for $10, a changing table/dresser for $25, some unopened Soothie bottles for $6, a diaper pail for $2, an evenflo Osh-Kosh stroller for $25 (only used at grandparents' home) and some others. I got a bassinet at Once Upon A Child for $25 and a head protector for hte car seat (car seat cost $10) for $1. Got my maternity pants too at Once Upon A Child. Oh...I recently got (again, all neutral) about 15-20 pcs of unopened crib sheets, blankets, mattress protectors for $30 on craigslist. There was a huge yard sale sponsored by the boy scouts near here and I found some nice terry-cloth sleepers (baby will arrive in the wintertime), and a steam bottle sterilizer for $5. Other stuff I got from my cousin in Chicago, including a Carter's pack-n-play that plays music and vibrates, an infant to toddler rocker, some crib bedding and baby clothes. Honestly, I don't know if anybody will give me a baby shower since most of my relatives here are out of state and my cousins 3 hours north of here are quite busy. I still made a registry at Target and will do so with Babies R Us...i-email ko nalang sa kanila para ipadeliver nalang nila dito kung di sila makapunta dito yung mga gifts nila

As for the nursery, we have yet to fix it up. We are hoping to know the sex of our child during next week's ultrasound/pre-natal. Only then can I really hunt for gender-specific clothes/items. But most of the more needed items are just waiting to be put in place . We will look for a crib maybe when baby turns a couple months old.

I'm 38+ weeks na Yup, we attended a childbirth class the other week. Dami info although nabasa ko na rin sa book. Pero iba pa rin pag may nagle-lecture specially matagal na sa birthing field Actually sabi ng OB at childbirth class instructor, 5 minutes apart daw na intense contraction, yon daw kelangan na punta sa hospital. Mabuti at malapit lang hospital sa place namin. Had been experiencing not-so-painful contractions last night, super malapit na talaga!

We bought our changing table sa Craigslist din, $20 lang and it matches our crib perfectly na binigay ng parents ng hubby ko.

natry ko na rin yang ipasok yung daliri...hindi masakit kaso diniin ng ob ko yung tummy ko doon lang medyo masakit pero sandali lang naman...

naku evelyn mag papasmear ka na for your health na rin...i bet tapos mong manganak di ka na matatakot sa papsmear kasi mas masakit manganak keysa sa papsmear hehehhehe.

kagabi lang i was baby talking to my baby sabi pa ng hubby ko "leave him alone...what do you mean by achuchuchu?" hehehhehe...ayaw nya kasi when i baby talk to our baby...

about sa clothes, namili kami kahapon ng hubby ko ng baby clothes, as usual, si hubby ko lahat namili...meron syang nakita ulit na " i love mommy onesies..sabi ko lets buy that...sabi nya "hell no"..then nakakita hubby ko ng spiderman tshirts saying "daddy's superhero" sabi pa ng hubby ko lets buy this...sabi ko naman "no way man" hehehhehe...kaya yun kunti lang nabili namin.

may tanong lang ako...kasi sa ngayon active pa rin kami ng hubby ko...and im 5 months preggy na...sabi naman ng ob ko its ok as long as di raw ako naga bleeding...but sometimes i get scared kasi baka matamaan si baby matuhog ng hubby ko...kayo ba when kayo nag stop doing it?
