@Doc Gracey, princess na princess pala ang dating ni Maizy. Just enjoy dressing her up until she can already pick what she wants hehe. Parang gusto ko na tuloy ng baby girl hehe.

@Davanj, our doctor adviced us to use lotion on his 1st month. Nagbabalat talaga skin ng mga baby esp on their hands and feet but nothing to worry about. What you can do for the meantime is mildly scrub her skin with face rug while giving her a bath.

use the "IMG" one.

Lotions...did not use any on maizy till she was about a month old or so. Your baby's skin will naturally dry and flake off; when you bathe her, you may use a washcloth to gently wipe the loose skin off. Maizy's case was different kasi wintertime nung pinanganak and i couldn't really bathe her daily kaya puro sponge bath lang sya mostly. Her skin was dry and sensitive so that I went through different bottles of washes and shampoos. The shampoo that worked for her had witch hazel extract in it. Instead of lotion, Aquaphor ginagamit ko and Gentle Touch na baby eczema cream (thought that was what she had) and cradle cap care. Since springtime, her skin and scalp has improved so that she now uses Aveeno shampoo and Aquaphor baby wash. She still has a bit of a dry spot on her upper arms that I use either Johnson's lotion or Aquaphor on.

No powders, too, lalo if near the face. But some powder on her bottom is fine as it will help absorb moisture and keep it off her skin With Maizy, sa laki ng pisngi nya e sumasayad minsan sa chest nya and nagmo-moist lalo't tag-init so I put a mix of Johnson's powder and Johnson's corn starch powder around her neck area.

hi mga mommies, matagal din akong di nka dalaw dito since i gave birth last april 13. My baby now is 10 weeks old at madaldal na & she can turn on her side now when i lay her in bed. Masarap maging new mom very challenging yet rewarding. She doubled her birth weight now from 6. 12 to 12. 15 and received 4 shots (vaccines) when she turned 2 months last week and nilagnat kinagabihan pero ok naman sya afetr that. Share ko lang sa inyo latest pics ni Athena. God bless to all mommies and mommies- to -be.

She'd clench her fists and stiffen her arms and really cry out...better keep that attitude in check, little lady! Her favorite thing is jumping so that I have brought up her doorway jumper today and, my, she was flying Tired herself out and she had a 2-hour nap. She still shrieks and growls when excited. She will have another round of shots on Tuesday.

ay dali lang pala mag upload pic hehe...buti nabasa ko ito at nagkaroon ako ng time magsign in sa photobucket...next time pag-aaralan ko paano magupload ng marami na pix...update ko pala baby ko, ito pala pix ng baby Patrick ko nung 3 months siya June 10, 2010...he weighs 16.8 that time, first week of July next shot niya at malaman ko kung ilan na gain niya...lakas ng tumawa ng baby ko at gusto palagi nasa labas, since March 10 ay wala akong problem sa tulog niya esp pag gabi kc straight tulog niya sana di magbago...

upload ako pix pag 4 months na baby ko..ingat mga mommy and kahit di pala ako masyadong nagpopost ay madalas ako dito, binabasa ko lahat kc baka maiwan ako sa balita hehe...GodBless...

Hi mga mommies ang cute naman ng mga baby girl dito, si Maizy sarap kurutin and at her age sarap na talaga yan ayusan, hmmm anu kaya sundan ko na ang baby boy ko wag muna pag laki laki na siguro.

Congrats sa mga bagong mommy, masarap na mahirap pero very rewarding talaga lalo na pag ngumiti na.

Hello mga mommies tanong ko lang sa mga nagbbreast feed dito, kasi plano ko ring mag breast feed kahit ayaw ng father in law ko kasi daw masisira ang boobs ko LOL at susuplayan daw nya kami ng formula for 1 year pero I don't care basta mag breast feed pa rin ako kasi gusto ko para naman sa baby ko yan eh, nag aalternate ba kayo ng formula while breastfeeding or sufficient ba talaga ang gatas natin for the baby or it depends? at saka yong Vitamin K need ba talaga yon after born ng baby or optional? God Bless mga mommies!!!

baby ko kaka-8 months lang, awa ng diyos di pa sinipon/inubo o nilagnat.

Thank you Zen Den, tama ka kaya ako decided na rin akong mag breastfeed, kasi mga pinoy usually breastfeed naman dito lang naman sila ayaw ng iba kasi daming dahilan hehehehe...katatapos lang naming mag-asawa ng Birth class, breastfeeding class at saka infant care class very informative talaga pasalamat ako kasi sa Birth Center ako manganganak kaya excited na ako at reading-ready na sa pagdating ng baby girl ko

@Doc Gracey, I was just curious kung normal lang din talaga yung dark greenkaya natanong ko sa inyo at kay RR kasi mejo naaalarma ako dahil nga sa sitwasyon din ng anak ng friend ko although I think in nmn talaga na there's nothing to worry kasi nga may iron yung mga food, milk and cereal na tinitake ni Zac. Pero at least now eh mejo nakampante na loob ko hehe.

Looking at Maizy's pic sa Spray Park eh halaos magkasing katawan lang pala sila ni Zac minsan kasi nakakadaya talaga camera. Minsan mukhang sobrang taba ni Zac pero di naman lol! tas dagdag pa ng matambok na pisngi hehe. Pero infairness gusto ko talaga ang chubby baby hehe. At I really love Maizy's smile sa latest pic nya. Kitang kita sa mga eyes nya na super happy cya.

I can't recall kung nabigyan ba si Zac ng Vit. K Alam ko lang Hepa B shot at NB Screening ang meron cya. Macheck nga ulit yung record nya later. Thanks dahil you brought up this topic

Zac has an attitude na rin. He yells like a banshee. Sigaw lang cya ng sigaw kapag ka masaya cya, ang problema pa eh palaging masaya si Zac hehe. Feeling ko I need to see an ear doctor na lol!

@Davanj, I really had the feeling na nanganak ka na kasi di ka na nagpopost hehe. Congratulations on your cutie girl!! Sarap pagmasdan ng baby no? I remember dati na I only put lotion on Zac after his bath time. I only gave him 2 or 3 times a bath every week but mostly 2 times lang kasi winter nun. I don't put powder on Zac.
