helllo ** my mga tanong lng me kc this morning pg sumaskit yung s my posun ko somaskit dn ang lowerback ko ang i feel gmagalaw c baby he realy pushing out.. at feel ko na eehi ako kya pnay ehi lng ako wla nmn akong ebang npapansin yun lng..untill this time ano s tingen nyo lalabas n kya c baby today?? my nkaranas nba ng gnito ehh kc hnintay ko nlng mg broke yung water ko or yung tlgang mskit na mskit na.. wla pnmn hubby ko dto nsa work cxa :help:

hi mga mommies,

kumusta na po kayo lahat? pasensiya na po ngayon lng ulit ako nakadalaw, i was just overwhelmed with everything yung panganganak ko plus the wildfire here in our neighborhood, dont know if u heard about it. Anyway, i finally delivered a healthy baby girl last June 18th @2:02pm weighing 6 lbs and 7oz 19 inches long..i felt soo blessed kc good girl maxado baby ko hindi siya fuzzy or colicky sana hindi magchange. Btw, pano ba mag upload ng pics dito? dont know how yet, i would love to share some pics of my baby Jasmine Nicole Rutledge..ingat po kayo lahat and Thanks sa lahat ng info na sinishare nyo dito..God Bless!!

Even in the RP, vit K shot for a newborn is SOP

As for breastfeeding...why does your father-in-law have any say in your decision to breastfeed or not anyway

Besides, your baby's health is so much more important than nice-looking boobies, di ba? plus, when your breasts get engorged with milk, they get larger (and perhaps will be more appealing to hubby ). Your milk will start to come in by the 5th day post-delivery, although you will already be secreting that oh-so-important colostrum even before giving birth. If you want to exclusively breastfeed, you may want to let the nursery know your wishes to have the child feed solely from you. Breastmilk is a lot blander than formula...baka kasi mas piliin ng baby yung formula. don't worry that baby isn't getting enough...he will let you know when he's had enough or not. Mind you, newborn babies feed more often than weeks-old infants simply because their stomachs are a lot smaller (think ping-pong ball as max stomach size) Note: a baby's seemingly "big" belly is due to the liver being the largest abdominal organ. Anyway, your newborn will feed about every 1-2 hours, every hour if breastfed as breastmilk is more easily digested than formula. You may consult a lactation consultant while in the hospital for help/instruction on proper latch-on. If you do decide to breastfeed, go ahead and feed baby whenever he wants to feed; the more he feeds from you, the more milk you will produce. And don't forget to load up on fluids (water, if possible) and continue your prenatal vits and iron tabs. If baby is asleep and your breasts are full, pump it out and store it to feed to baby when he wakes up...again to stimulate more milk production. As much as possible, try to feed exclusively with your milk. With Maizy, she was always hungry and I was post-CS so that that darned pain meds kinda messed up my lactation, and the pain of having to move about was REALLY uncomfortable for me so that I couldn't really relax and max my milk production. But I still fed her from the breast when I could; she was probably taking at least 4oz from me. I still supplemented with formula though, despite what my lactation consultant told me. I think she had 1-2 bottles of formula a day and the rest was from me. I did not worry about if she was getting enough or not; her weight and height (both in the 90th %ile) told me that she was.

I agree, very well said Doc Gracey. I guess it depends on how will you take care of your breast after you breastfeed so it wont sugged. I have a friend who breastfeed for 6 months and her breast still looks good.

Hay...talaga Reklamo na nga asawa ko kasi ang daming kulatsang ni Maizy (headbands, clips, different color/patterned diaper covers, different colored socks, different colored bibs --- syempre dapat match sa damit nya :lol: ) in addition to her skorts, skirts, shorts, tops, rompers, jumpers, leggings, dresses, onesies, pants, hats and shoes. like today...she'd have changed outfits 3 times And being that mestiza sya, the more na sarap bihisan kasi walang bawal na kulay :star: But wag ka, some of her clothes pinili ng Daddy nya especially the dresses :yes: I remember when we went out to the thrift store, we had agreed na tama na yung damit na meron si Maizy. Aba, paglingon ko, eto na si hubby na tulak-tulak ang cart na may laman na mga dresses ulit :blink: Maizy's wardrobe will practically last her till she is 2 years old, although I recently found out how few 6-9 month clothing she had. Yay...shopping si Mommy...besides, she needs bigger shoes... :dance:

Kaya nga sabi namin ng asawa ko aba at nag pakialamero na ang daddy mo hahahaha....nag attend na kami ng breastfeeding class, birth class at saka infant care so medyo clear na sa akin kung papano, kasi ever since decided naman talaga ako na mag breastfeed eh, di ko pa kasi narinig ang vitamin K na yan sa pinas kasi ang narinig ko lang is about sa newborn screening, kasi sa birth plan ko may option is K drops or injection ano ba ang mas maigi?

Ilang cm dilated ka na ba? kung fully dilated ka na at pumutok na tubig mo alam ko lalabas na talaga yan pero pag hindi pa relax ka lang muna kasi pakiramdam mo lang yan...good luck di masyado excited kasi baka ayaw lumabas ni baby hehehehe...

thanks, i will try that one too. I have one question too, kelan ba pwede gamitan ng lotion c baby? kc ayon sa discharge slip nya no lotion or anything on her skin yet. i forgot to ask her pediatrician. medyo dry kc skin nia and i've tried a little amount of aveeno baby lotion on her feet to see if there is any reaction to it eh wala naman hiyang naman skin nia. Anyway, ang cute ng baby mo ang laki na nia, sana lumaki na din baby ko kc for now walang ibang ginagawa kundi matulog at magpopo..hehe, but its ok i still have fun watching her sleeping. Take care

I have one question too, kelan ba pwede gamitan ng lotion c baby? kc ayon sa discharge slip nya no lotion or anything on her skin yet. i forgot to ask her pediatrician. medyo dry kc skin nia and i've tried a little amount of aveeno baby lotion on her feet to see if there is any reaction to it eh wala naman hiyang naman skin nia. Anyway, ang cute ng baby mo ang laki na nia, sana lumaki na din baby ko kc for now walang ibang ginagawa kundi matulog at magpopo..hehe, but its ok i still have fun watching her sleeping. Take care

Congrats! it looks like she has your eyes and she is so adorable. Regarding sa lotion, I didn't use lotion on Ethan until he was 1 month old kasi every other 3 days ko lang naman sya binigyan nang sponge bath so I didn't have to worry about dry skin. Well, it's a different story now kasi almost everyday ko na sya pinapaliguan coz he's almost everywhere around the house playing at kung anu-ano na ang pinaglalaruan and I always use mild lotion like Johnson & Johnson or Huggies

I-enjoy mo si baby and don't be in a hurry na lumaki kaagad si baby kasi ma mi-miss mo yan before you know it ayaw na n'yan magpakarga.
