Hi mga mommies, sorry ngayon lang nakabalik but lagi naman ako updated dito sa forum na to.

Mga mommy ask ko lang my son is turning 2 mos old na next month and have a doc appointment, I guess for vaccine, sa mga na research ko several type of vaccine pala ang ibibigay for 2 mos old baby, ask ko lang sabay sabay ba yun? and ok lang ba, although di pa naman proven na cause ng autism eh medyo takot din ako. Kayo ba pina vaccine nyo ba agad baby nyo?

My son got his 4 vaccines when he turned 2 months. Actually di naman exactly 2 months nya nakuha kasi pina move namin appointment nya due to the unavailability of my husband. 3 shots yun and 1 oral. Then another vaccines next month (4 months old). My husband and I believe on vaccinations kaya pina vaccine namin kagad baby namin. It's really up to the parents.

@RR, lately lang naging green yung poop ni Zac. Cguro mag 2 weeks na. Dati kasi yellow eh tas minsan may halong dark green pero now eh dark green na lang tlga. About naman dun sa anak ng friend ko, ayun continuous ang chemotherapy. Ang talagang cause pala nung sakit nya is yung "HLH" ibig sabihin daw nun in layman's term ay hindi compatible yung genes nung parents kaya ang result ay ganun. Nagtake ng bone marrow exam yung baby at inaantay pa rin nila ang result kung hereditary ba yun or hindi kasi maaring hindi daw hereditary. Kapag hereditary ay may malaking posibilidad na may masamang epekto ulit ang magiging 2nd baby nila, its either kagaya ng baby nila now or maaring ibang klaseng masamang epekto Sabi ng friend ko malamang hindi na sila ulit mag-anak. Nakakaawa nmn yung ganun na love ninyo isa't isa pero hindi compatible ang genes ninyo specially kung gusto nyong magkababy.

Ano ba ang mostly temp jan sa Hawaii? Kasi pansin ko lang na karamihan sa pics ni Tyree eh walacyang damit

Maizy's lower central incisors are coming out, too...actually, according to hubby, isa sa baba, isa sa itaas She's been extra cranky today, ewan ko ba. But she still managed to behave some at mealtimes.

About poop, Maizy has about 2-3 soft ones a day, ranging from greenish-orangey to a dark brown to black color. Am not so much bothered when it's black as it's probably the iron in her milk and cereals that has broken down already She eats 3 times a day: cereals and fruit plus some milk in the morning, meat and veggies at lunchtime, and cereals plus milk at supper. She has 2 bottles of milk in between meals and one bottle of bedtime formula in the evening. She sleeps through the night na and wakes in the morning for breakfst

pink, kawawa naman yung bata noh...di na ba nila nilalabas yung baby nila? naitanong ko kasi yung dahilan so I will know kung bakit nagkulang sa iron ng sa ganun I wont do it sa baby ko... but since nasa genes pala so di na ako masyadong magworry...

about naman sa poop my baby's poop is always dark green... i didnt really mind about the color of the poop till you talk about it...hehehe...but i guess theres nothing to worry about it as long as di bloody or may mucus yung poop. and ganun talaga ang wic they give less formula na once baby is six months na kasi they give baby food na.

about naman sa damit hehehe...yung temp dito siguro mga 80 degrees up. before ako naospital lagi ko talaga syang dinadamitan then yung hubby ko sinanay sya na pag nasa bahay lng or sa pagtulog eh naka diaper lng. tapos nung lumabas na ako sa ospital yun sinanay ko na rin na di na damitan sa bahay till dumating yung time na di ko na talaga sya dinadamitan.

brettane, di ko na sya sinusuotan ng medyas, yun nasanay na paa nya...minsan nagpapawis minsan hindi pero yun nga mana nga rin sa akin pawisin hehehe

doc gracey, buti pa si maizy she can sleep thru the night na baby ko di pa...and lumabas na rin one ipin nya sa baba...he like bumping toys sa bibig nya and nangangagat rin.

Hello mga mommies tanong ko lang sa mga nagbbreast feed dito, kasi plano ko ring mag breast feed kahit ayaw ng father in law ko kasi daw masisira ang boobs ko LOL at susuplayan daw nya kami ng formula for 1 year pero I don't care basta mag breast feed pa rin ako kasi gusto ko para naman sa baby ko yan eh, nag aalternate ba kayo ng formula while breastfeeding or sufficient ba talaga ang gatas natin for the baby or it depends? at saka yong Vitamin K need ba talaga yon after born ng baby or optional? God Bless mga mommies!!!

As for breastfeeding...why does your father-in-law have any say in your decision to breastfeed or not anyway

Besides, your baby's health is so much more important than nice-looking boobies, di ba? plus, when your breasts get engorged with milk, they get larger (and perhaps will be more appealing to hubby ). Your milk will start to come in by the 5th day post-delivery, although you will already be secreting that oh-so-important colostrum even before giving birth. If you want to exclusively breastfeed, you may want to let the nursery know your wishes to have the child feed solely from you. Breastmilk is a lot blander than formula...baka kasi mas piliin ng baby yung formula. don't worry that baby isn't getting enough...he will let you know when he's had enough or not. Mind you, newborn babies feed more often than weeks-old infants simply because their stomachs are a lot smaller (think ping-pong ball as max stomach size) Note: a baby's seemingly "big" belly is due to the liver being the largest abdominal organ. Anyway, your newborn will feed about every 1-2 hours, every hour if breastfed as breastmilk is more easily digested than formula. You may consult a lactation consultant while in the hospital for help/instruction on proper latch-on. If you do decide to breastfeed, go ahead and feed baby whenever he wants to feed; the more he feeds from you, the more milk you will produce. And don't forget to load up on fluids (water, if possible) and continue your prenatal vits and iron tabs. If baby is asleep and your breasts are full, pump it out and store it to feed to baby when he wakes up...again to stimulate more milk production. As much as possible, try to feed exclusively with your milk. With Maizy, she was always hungry and I was post-CS so that that darned pain meds kinda messed up my lactation, and the pain of having to move about was REALLY uncomfortable for me so that I couldn't really relax and max my milk production. But I still fed her from the breast when I could; she was probably taking at least 4oz from me. I still supplemented with formula though, despite what my lactation consultant told me. I think she had 1-2 bottles of formula a day and the rest was from me. I did not worry about if she was getting enough or not; her weight and height (both in the 90th %ile) told me that she was.
