i get your point po... i know not all who are applying for government support are talagang mahirap...some just do it to have a 'little help' ba so they can save some...dont get me wrong..i really want to apply din po..... hehehehe.....but our (me and my husband) main concern is how will it affect my immigration status here (like removal of condition, naturalization...etc) since he signed affidavit of support and honestly im not sure din po if i am eligible to apply (LPR status)...and of course we dont want to have any problem with USCIS in the future...alam nyo naman..mahirap kalaban ang gobyerno...hehehehe

hello ladies! we applied for WIC last week, depende yan sa income nyo at sa dami ng dependent sa household, first is to call your WIC kung saan county kayo for appointment, bring the ff:

proof of residence gaya ng cable bill, since yun lang meron kami kasi kalilipat lng namin dito,

proof of pregnancy: my ultrasound record na galing pa sa pinas,

valid ID. tsaka LES ng hubby ko..

as far as I know no discrimination ang WIC and di makaka affect ng immigration status.. google nyo WIC kung ano talaga eto,

WIC will not affect immigration status. It does not consider an immigrant a public charge to government.

Getting nutrition assistance through the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) DOES NOT make an immigrant a "public charge". That is, an immigrant to the United States WILL NOT be deported, DENIED entry to the country, or DENIED permanent status because he or she receives food stamps, WIC benefits, free and reduced price school lunches or other nutrition assistance from FNS.

*** I applied for WIC last week and we passed. I just had to cancel my application because I don't drink milk and I will only be getting items for just 1 more month and that's it. After giving birth, mothers will still get items from WIC until baby is 6 months old (if you are not breastfeeding). My baby is already 5 months so I don't think I would still want to take advantage of it. My baby gets 9 cans (12.9 oz) of enfamily formula powder monthly. She will be getting some rice cereal and gerber food/juice starting next month. ***

It's a boy!!!

This morning around 7:30AM, I woke up to pee. After peeing, I felt sudden pain on my lower left abdomen. As in, hindi ako makatayo ng straight sa sakit. So I lay down in bed and told it to my husband (he was awake). Sabi nya magrest daw ako, so nagrest ako but he was worrying about me. He went back to sleep while ako naman ay trying to ease the pain. It was really painful talaga na I can't do the side line position kasi sobra sa sakit. I am the type of person that i'll take the pain na lang instead of taking pain meds as I don't really like taking pills. Sometimes pa nga when my ulcer attacks me eh tinutulugan ko na lang ang sakit. But I can't tolerate the pain this morning, I can't even get up and sit and I was screaming every move I make. Around 9:00AM, I woke my husband up screaming because of the pain. He told me that he will bring me to the nearest hospital (there is no OB/GYN dun kundi ER lang) so he tried to lift me up pero I screamed again kasi sobrang sakit at dapat ay 2 ang bubuhat sa akin so he dialed 911 and grabe! within 2 mins ambulance came. Two big guys lifted me gently to the gurney and wala akong nafeel na sakit sa pagtransfer sa akin. They checked my vital signs and they are all normal pati yung oxygen level ko, 98% daw.

Sa hospital, they gave me pain killer shot saka isa pang shot pangpakalma ata yun? basta after few secs lang na tinurukan ako eh nawala yung pain tapos I felt dizzy and weak. I can't even open my eyes pa nga kasi dahil sa shots pero I can hear on what's happening around me (super na groogy ako at na high sa gamot lol). After an hour (ata) kinuha yung urine sample ko.

wholebody1.jpg

im having my 2nd ultrasound this coming july 21.to check the chromosomes and if wala ba problema yung baby ko like syndrome...
