I'm nervous and scared, this coming thursday january 28 ,kasi i induce ako ,i wonder how it feels, is there any side effects with the baby??????????????

I'm worried about my baby's health...

Please give me info about it...

Naku evelyn buti nagpost ka about this kasi we are planning to go to Chicago sometime June dun ko nalang din siguro isasubmit in person yung Report of marriage, report of birth, amendment at renewal ng passport ko pati pagkuha ng passport ni baby. Nabanggit din ni mommy riza dito na kailangan pa palang e notarized kung emimail mo..Hay hassle..LOL..

Yung sa requirement nga nila na photo diba pwede dun na gagawin without additional cost? Ikaw ba nagpapicture kayong mag-asawa or dun niyo na rin gagawin?

Mommy Riza - Malayo din ang consulate dito sa amin. Under kami sa Chicago and it's a 13 hour drive..Hay..Pero alang plano asawa ko magdrive kasi kawawa si baby at tsaka mas makakatipid kami kung mag-eeroplano..Hehehehe..

Mommy Shiela - Magka-edad lang pala baby natin. Addie Mae is also 12 days old today..Hehehehe! Pero panay na ang labas nito since lumabas kami ng ospital. Today was her second sunday at the church..

Anong picture ba naming mag-asawa ang kailangan? Sorry try to look up the consulate sa chicago about the pictures pero di ko makita? San ba kailangan yong picture ng mag-asawa? Sa San Francisco kasi kami under eh wala naman akong nakita don sa requirement na kailangan naming mag-asawa na mag pa picture. Yong picture lang na kailangan nila is for the passport

Buti malapit lang sa inyo ang Consulate office dyan. Sa amin sa Los Angeles kami sakop, so i-mail na lang. Sana nga ibalik ang original na copy, mahal pa naman yong BC kasi online kami nag-order, mas madali kasi.

Naka renew na ako ng passport ko sa San Francicso passport ID lng na blue ang background ang kailangan, kung mag apply ka ng report of marriage authenticated lang na copy ng mariage certificate nyo at 4 copies ng application form ng report of marriage notarize pag by mail pero pag personal di na kailangan notarize.

Sabi sa amin mag four months daw kasi that's the time na cover ng 4 to 6 ounces ng warm amniotic fluid ang baby its enough to get the sample for the test, basta ako tiwala nalang ako kay Lord ah di ba day.. pray nalang tayo.

I turned 39 a few months before my baby was born. In my 11th week, they did a nuchal translucency ultrasound along with blood tests to screen the baby for developmental defects (i.e. down's syndrome, trisomy 23, etc). we waited anxiously for the results which took a week. took a look at the ultrasound though with the ultrasound doc and he said that everything on the ultrasound looked normal for age. the blood tests also were within normal. still, i was skeptical but did not tell my husband about it. I was skeptical till the day Maizy was born. We were given the option of having an amnio done to confirm but we declined knowing that in a small percentage, it can induce preterm labor or result in bleeding among other things. But we had talked about the possibility that even if the baby had developmental defects, we would still have her and not terminate the pregnancy. Am not getting any younger and we have been trying for 2 years for a child.

ok can somebody enlighten me a bit. since most of our babies here are US citizens, if we plan of visiting back Philippines kasama yung baby, where to get the baby passport...in Philippines Consulate or in US Department of State?

Is it really a requirement to submit a Report of Birth/Marriage in Philippine Consulate? Will that make the baby have a dual citizenship?

Philippine consulate where your state is under. Every consulate has thier own different requirements so I suggest you to visit thier site where the state you live is under.

The basic requirements are:

Report of birth

Marriage Cert.

Accomplished Passport Application for the baby

Passport Data Page of the Filipino Parent/s

Apat ba na report marriage form ang kailangan? Sa site kasi nila tatlo lang yong dapat i-accomplished? Nga pala ask ko na rin meron ba don nagkukuha ng id picture doon mismo sa consulate building? Kasi mahirap yata maghanap dito ng pakuhanan ng picture na blue back ground.

Ah ok..di na namin kailangan yan kasi wala naman sa kanilang requirements

Ay sorry day kalimutan ko parang 3 nga ata ang kailangan, oo meron sa building na pwedi ka magpakuha pumunta ka lang maaga kasi baka marami ang tao mas maigi na kung maaga kayo.
