Hehehe!!!Were having a girl!!!Feeling ko naman eh ngayong month ako manganganak.

Wag ka munang magworry masyado baka kasi di klaro yung first try nila kaya uulitin. Think positive and I am hoping and praying na maging okay ang lahat sa next pap smear mo.

Hi!

I did prepare everything for my D day before, but you know what? Hosp provided most of them (kaiser Hosp)

Anyway, here is the list that Kaiser asked me to have;

The following is a list of items that should be included in your hospital suitcase.

Labor kit

Hair clip or rubber band

Chapstick or lip balm

Lotion (odorless, for massage)

Cotton socks

Tennis balls or other massage device for back massage

Hand fan

Spray mist bottle

Toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash

I-Pod or mp3 player or CDs with a portable, battery-operated player for relaxing music

Camera, film (check battery)

Food for the partner (avoid foods with strong odors)

Extra juices for the mother

For mother

Kaiser Permanente card

Nightgown/robe (front opening if you're breast feeding) or loose or stretchy scoop necked t-shirt or camisole to tuck your baby in for skin-to-skin after delivery

Slippers

Nursing bra without underwires (for breastfeeding mothers); well-fitting bra (for bottle feeding mothers)

Personal articles (comb, brush, toothbrush, and toothpaste)

Loose-fitting clothes to wear home. Don't expect to fit into your pre-pregnancy size. Bring clothes that fit during your sixth month of pregnancy.

Toiletries

Address book with phone numbers

For partner

Telephone calling card or change (Cell phone use may not be allowed in the hospital. Check with the staff if cell phones are allowed.)

Toothbrush

Bathing suit (in case your partner needs support in the shower)

For baby

A name for your baby (for the birth certificate)

Clothing for going home (undershirt, outer garments)

One or two blankets (depending on the weather)

Hat or hooded garment

Infant car seat (required by law to be in the car when you leave the hospital)

Do not bring

Electrical appliances (curling iron, hair dryer)

Valuable jewelry or money

You can use this as a guide. Don't forget to ask for EPIDURAL on your D-day, that really made my labor and delivery very easy...

God Bless! :star:

Guys, it's going to be fine... maalaga sila dito sa labor and delivery...

I tell you, now that my baby is out, it's harder than with the labor and delivery, esp. at kayong 2 mag asawa lang, without the support of the family, unlike if we are home in the PI...

24/7 work yan  not scaring you guys, but I cried a lot during the first 2mos. pray nyo lang na sleeper ang baby nyo, ang sa akin, OMG.. she sleeps mostly 3hrs, thankful na ako na maka 4hrs, sometimes 2hrs pa, then have to feed her again and again...

It's an exhausting job w/o the help someone else :crying: ... but it's rewarding once you see your baby smiling :star:

in the hospital where i gave birth they allow chargers for cellphones or camera...

i packed all the things for me and my baby but i didnt even used it except when we discharged...they even provide disposable underwear for the mother...

i had my own robe but i didnt use it coz it might get stain from my bleeding...i just asked for a clean one to the nurse. hehehehe

anyway...

wow marami rin palang puputok this month or baka this month...post post din kayo ng pictures ha.

ang wag kayong kabahan kasi actually parang di naman mahirap manganak (sa ngayon i can say its easy i dont know on my next pregnancy) kung walang complications and kung di rin masyadong malaki si baby for your size...basta umiri lang kayo...and stay relax kasi when your relax you will get dilated so easy...

God bless sa lahat

It's an exhausting job w/o the help someone else :crying: ... but it's rewarding once you see your baby smiling :star:

yup, exhausting nga lalo na pag kayo lang dalawa ng asawa mo....in my case ako lang mag-isa though my hubby was there pero umuuwi sya so he can sleep better for work so nung nasa hospital ako the baby was with me all day except kung kukunin for some tests and i just asked the nurse at night na kunin muna nila so i can sleep and just bring it back kung feeding time na...so mga 3 to 4 hours lang tulog ko. so since i gave birth wala talaga akong maayos na tulog and the day after we discharged nagfishing agad kami kasi gusto ng hubby ko...nakakalerky talaga...and halos araw-araw lumalabas kami...so nakakapagod talaga...and at night pa ako pa rin nagbabantay sa baby ko...so nagiging crabby talaga ako sa hubby ko na one time umiyak ako i told my hubby since i gave birth i never had enough sleep and nobody is helping me...but end of the story we kissed and make up but still ako pa rin hanggang ngayon pero buti na lang baby ko katabi ko lang matulog sa bed so before i go to sleep sa may uluhan nya nilalagay ko yung diapers, lampin, gatas, thermometer and extra clothes for changing in case madumihan nya damit nya so di ko na kaylangan bumangon sa kama...and pag nagising sya kuha ko lang yung milk then ipaprop ko lang yung bottle then tulog agad ako...kaya easy talaga for me as of now...ewan ko lang in the coming months.

though my baby sleeps with us in the bed...half ng bed namin yun ang space nya and half amin ng hubby ko and walang mga unan sa side nya kasi baka malunod sya hehehehe...so he sleeps like a king on the bed. hehehehe...
