Wow! feeling ko carbon copy mo si Maizy hehe Ang cute naman Wish ko din dati sana kamukha ko anak namin pero sa ngayon eh mukhang nagiging kamukha na ng anak ko daddy nya hehe pero ok lang Anak ko din kinunan ng pic pero masmaganda yung sa inyo kasi ang daming poses sa anak ko isa lang, ba't ganun? hehe Pagaling ka na at sana eh mag-OK ka na soon

About sa jaundice ng anak ko, ok na naman cya (I think) yung eyes nya eh hindi na mashado yellowish pati skin nya di na rin. Sabi ng Doc kapag tumaas pa daw ng 16 eh kailangan nya ng bili blanket pero thank God at hindi na nya kailangan nun

I am a breastfeeding mom. Sa umaga breastfeed si baby pero sa gabi formula na kasi asawa ko na nagbabantay sa anak namin para makatulog naman ako. May tanong po ako sa mga mommies.

Thanks Pink. Hubby spoils me...naawa nga ako kasi kung hindi si Maizy inaatupag nya, ako. I would like to breastfeed continuously. For now, Maizy spends at least 15 mins at each breast per feeding time. We use Similac Advance for supplementing. I do have a sample of Good Start and Enfamil. I got coupons by registering at the websites

It's normal for newborn babies na di makapopo for few days as long as umiihi sya. Si Eve no'ng bagong panganak may mga iilang araw na di sya nakapopo. Her pedia and people from the hospital told us before na as long as magana ang kain nya at nagwiwi, walang dapat ikabahala. Nag-worry din kami nuon ng di sya nakapopo ng ilang araw, but with the experts assurance, naging panatag na din loob namin.

congrats ms gracey...laki ng baby mo cutie...kamukha mo...baby ko rin my mild jaundice it was 7.3 nung una syang tinest after 2 days nung nadischarge ako follow up check up eh they did test then the doctor called me and said its negative so nothing to worry...ewan ko lang ngayon. ang cute rin ng pictures may background song pa...di na kami nagpapicture ng hubby ko sa hospital kasi we just want to go home already...

riza...ganun ba...nagwiwiwi naman baby ko i dont count his diapers per day hehehehe...kahapon nakapoopoo sya though di matigas poopoo nya pero pag nagpoopoo sya parang ang tigas ng pinopoopoo nya kasi namumula mukha nya...but then im just happy kasi everytime i change and clean his butt after pooing he is so calm he just let me clean him till i finish.

evelyn...i remember namention mo yung cone for the ehem ng boy when changing diaper...saan mo ba nabili yun? kasi kailangan ko rin eh kasi most of the time when i change his diaper when its full na eh umiihi sya...

pink...nung nasa hospital ako as long as you want kahit ilang oras mo padedehin baby mo sa breast mo its fine as long as its fine with you too...baby ko though breastmilk pero bottlefeeding sya kasi his comfortable with it and me too...but there are times i breastfeed him para may bonding hehehehe...at first gamit ko yung similac advance pero binigyan kami ng pedia ng similac sensitive kaya yun gamit ko now pero most of the time breastmilk yung binibigay ko sa kanya pero ewan ko ba para atang nauubos na gatas ko now...hehehehe...

my baby will be 2 weeks old na bukas...tawag namin sa kanya is BIBI bale baby pero bisayan ang dating kaya bibi pati hubby ko bibi rin tawag sa kanya he always smile...nanonood rin sya ng tv especially pag colorfull ang show...

Congrats Doc gracey for a healthy and pretty baby girl. I went to the website and saw the pictures.

I went on my doctor's visit today and everything went well though they we're 2 hours behind of the appointment due to christmas break and at the same time monday siguro. I'll be back in 2 weeks for my glucose test.

kanina nagpunta kami sa wic and may wic checks na naman ako...nakakatawa lang kasi supposedly bukas pa ang appointment ko same day ng check up ng baby ko sa pedia nya...hay naku akala ko kasi 29 na ngayon yun pala eh 28 pa...wala kasi kaming big calendar na pwede kung matingnan yung date...hehehehe

they check my weight..i was 122 or 123 pounds when i gave birth two weeks na ngayon since i gave birth i weigh 106 sabi ng staff im high risk daw kasi underweight ako according to their chart...ewan ko ba balak ata nila na patabain ako...and my baby is two weeks na rin and now he weigh 7.9 pounds na from 6.4 pounds when he was born...so im happy na rin...i got similac checks too from wic kaya im happy too.

kahapon i was constipated kasi kain ako ng kain ng saging parang di tumalab yung stool softener na iniinom ko pero yun nga i just waited for my poo to come out since ayoko magpush kasi baka mag open yung stitches ko kaya now wala munang saging saging...hehehehehe

Hi mga moms and moms-to-be, few days from now, year 2010 na tayo...Happy New Year sa lahat! I congratulate all the moms here. I am happy for you all.

Next year is something to look forward because I will soon become a mom na..just like other moms here. I could not imagine myself yet how will I go through the labor process, either I will have a normal delivery or CS. Other than that, I have a mix feelings about that new additional role--as a mom, but the excitement of seeing our baby on that day when she will come out surpasses whatever fear or anxieties I may have now. For now, I just take good care of myself and of the baby by keeping myself well, have 20-30 min exercise every other day(walking on the threadmill), take my daily prenate vitamins and eat nutritious foods. Though I drink caffeinated beverages like coffee and soda sometimes which makes me feel guilty about it but I just looked up online and I asked my OBGYN about it and they said that it's just OK for as long as I should not exceed 2-3 cups in a day. Hope our baby is not affected with my being stubborn sometimes (addict kasi sa mga cola drinks hehehe). Other concerns of our baby's wellness and of us future parents, I just lift up that to the Lord for His blessings and protection.

While we are waiting for that day when Aneska will come out, we are starting to prepare ourselves. Next weekend, we will be attending the start of class series in preparation for the Childbirth and also about Parenting/Assuming the Role as Parents. We also had started gathering some stuff for the nursery room of Aneska...it's kinda tasking for us but I enjoyed doing it.. It's lovely to look at the beautiful and pretty stuff of the baby girl specially the dainty colors, tiny clothes for the baby and many others.

I have something to share for the expectant moms and new moms here.. If you need additional reading materials like book about pregnancy and taking care of your infant/child, I am suggesting and recommending to register yourself for a free membership in publix baby club through this site http://publix.com/clubs/baby/Home.do and they will give you complimentary copy of a book "Caring your Infant and young child". It's a nice and informative book which is a guide of the American Academy of Pediatrics. I love this book.

Sometimes, I read from this site www.babycenter.com for some info if ever I have some questions regarding pregnancy, etc. Hope these can help you guys in some ways.

hindi naman nakakaapekto yung caffeine sa baby kasi for me lagi akong umiinom ng soda...hay naku and actually huminto ako sa pag inom ng vitamins at ng iron pills...last refill ko ng vitamins ko was september and my due date was december and di ko rin naubos yung september refill...so naging pasaway talaga ako...di kasi ako nasanay na mag take ng any vitamins kasi sinanay kami ng mama ko na di maging dependent sa mga vitamins or medicine...and thank God okay naman baby ko. but im not telling everybody not to take kasi its for your own health and the baby too. i guess it depends on you lang.

Kasi wala ako sa pinas and wala me relatives d2.. sana ma deliver ko ng normal ang baby.. last check ko ang weight ng baby 6 1/2 pounds

2mrw dec 29, 2009 another check up.. once a week na ako visit sa dr.

last check up ko pala.. nag resita sya sa akin ng antibiotic ( metronidazole ) na allergy kasi ako sa panty shields na ginamit kuna scented..

na infections.. then travel ng travel ako with my hubby eh ung sabon sa hotel d ako hiyang. pero now i am okey na..

i am sure, safe naman cguro na mag antibiotic ako dba?

any tips here..

anong pwde gawin, kasi d na ako comfortable - nahihirapan me mag hinga.. nabibigatan ako sa tummy ko..

walking walking lang ginagawa ko na exercise and stretching..

wow shiela malapit ka na pala magkasabay ba kayo ni frosty? about sa mahirap huminga ganyan talaga kasi lumalaki na si baby...kung nahihirapan ka huminga wag ka muna magwalking kasi when you do things mas lalo kang hihingalin magpahinga ka na lang save your energy for your delivery...hehehehe...pero kung as in di ka na makahinga eh magpa admit ka na sa hospital para bigyan ka ng oxygen...pero actually part kasi yan nag pagbubuntis lalo na kung malaki baby mo...

about sa antibiotic...i dont know ang alam ko lang if you take antibiotic kung nagcocontraceptives ka eh di tumatalab ang contraceptives...hehehe...pero kung nirecommend naman ng ob mo yan eh i guess its safe pero kung ako sayo wag ka laging nagpapanty shields kasi para makahinga rin yung skin mo...and if you think na okay na yung infection mo eh wag ka na magtake ng medicine.

Doc gracey yun bang 1 cup of coffee a day eh nsa 200mg ba yun, kasi di talaga ako mabubuhay kung walang coffee sa umaga paggising..Hehehehe..Pero yun at yun lang din ang iniinom ko buong araw. With soda naman eh diet coke yung iniinom ko na caffeine free, tsaka mango juice at tubig. Paulit ulit lang..lol..Sana di makaapekto sa baby ko yun.

Sis Shiela I can relate to that. Lately nahihirapan na din akong huminga sobra. Minsan nga nagigising nalang ako na hinahabol ko yung hininga ko tapos sasabayan pa talaga ng sipon ko,hay kaloka..Oh pregnancy! Mahirap na ding magkikilos. Minsan nga para bang may nakabara sa paghihinga ko. Ang ginagawa ko nalang eh exhale inhale habang nakahiga kasi ala nmn akong magagawa,part daw kasi sa pregnancy tsaka yung anak grabe na kung magkikilos sa loob ng tiyan ko, lumalakas yung mga sipa niya..hay..pero kotning tiis nalang talaga..

Speaking of kinakabahan, ako din ganyan. Kinakabahan na excited na rin. I am also hoping na maging okay yung delivery ko..Hay napapalapit na talaga ang d-day..hehehehe

Sis RR, mauuna ata si Shiela sa akin kasi ang due date ko eh Feb 9 pa pero feeling ko talaga by January eh manganganak na ako kasi minsan feeling ko lalabas na yung anak ko ng wala sa oras..Lol..Hay ang hirap pala ng ganito na wla kang kaalam alam kung anung mangyayari kinabukasan, diyos na mahabagin. Minsan napaparanoid ako..lol..

Tsaka yung sa daily intake ng vitamin di ko na rin ginagawa yun. Nakakalimutan ko palagi, sana okay lang ang baby ko pero sinisiguro ko naman yung mga kinakain ko eh sobra sobra yung nutrient na nakukuha ko sa vitamins as lamon to the max talaga..Lol..Pero everything na may appointment ako eh sabi ng Ob ko everything is okay nmn daw..Hay..tigas kasi ng ulo tsaka di talaga ako sanay mag-iiinom ng mga gamot. :bonk:

(Belated) Merry Christmas to all!

Hay naku...yan na nga ba ang nangyayari sa naiinip...

Mazzelynn Eve made her debut at 9:52am Eastern of Christmas day She weighed in at 8.6 lbs and is 21 inches tall I had one strong contraction around 5am, went to the bathroom at ayun na nga...bloody show. Did not go to the hospital till an hour later when my contractions were 4 mins apart. Am currently still in the hospital recuperating, Maizy is currently seeking Daddy's favor...he just cannot not pick her up the moment she starts to cry. Ayun, first night namin pareho kaming puyat. I swear...pati recovery ko is far different from when i had Alec. Di ako maka-wee-wee after they took out the catheter at nag-spasm yung daanan ng wee-wee ko kaya they had to re-insert another. I've been able to relieve myself since then but the walk to the toilet is somewhat excruciating kasi nag-spasm parin yung pantog ko. They are still observing me kas my hemoglobin dropped from a 10.9 pre-op to a 7.6 post-op. Passed out a lot of blood clots kanina so i am currently awaiting the lab tech who'll be getting another blood sample for another blood count. The baby was observed in the special care nursery for a while kasi sabi malaki sya for her age in weeks. Everything turned out to be fine although they had to test her blood sugar every now and then. She is developing some jaundice on her face already and I would not be surprised if she becomes yellower tomorrow. She is purely breast-fed...nakakatulugan nga lang nya mag-dede. She as passed out meconium 4 times already which is good...needs to make wet diapers now

Ayan...gising na naman yung prinsesa...feeding time again....

congrats!!! Maizy is so adorable in her pics. she looks like you hay, can't wait to hold my baby girl soon.
