hello mga mommies...balik vegas ulit ako pagkatapos ng 40 days na vacation sa Pinas.

Update ko lang sa baby ko, yesterday was his appt and 21 lbs na siya at 27 in. tall, nag-start pa lang siyang mag crawl am sure late na un kc mag 7 months na siya this Oct. 10. About his WIC also, ung 9 cans niya dati ay 7 cans nalang now pero meron na siyang cereal at baby foods na nadagdag at ung milk etc for me ay nawala na:) sa baby ko nalang...

Brittane-ngayon ako mas natakot ihiwalay sa pagtulog ko baby ko, tulad din yan nung nasa Pinas ako last month, nasa news na isang 10 months na baby ang napabayaan kc nag laundry ang mother at ang baby ay nasa duyan na lubid...pagbalik ng mother wala ng buhay ang baby kc malikot na kc ang 10 months at naslide ung ulo ng baby at napulupot sa leeg niya ung lubid na duyan...merong crib ang baby ko pero di ko ginagamit sa kanya kc tabi tabi lang kami sa pagtulog, antayin ko nalang kako na lumaki siya at saka ko na ihiwalay, ang resulta naman ay ako din nahihirapan kc gusto palagi na nakikita ako at ang medyo mahirap pa ay kapag cooking time na ay pakarga pa siya...gandang exrecise ko tuloy. Buti okay naman si Letcher...till now natatakot pa din ako kc baby ko ang nakikita ko sa mga ganyang sitwasyon ay baby ko...hayyy hirap talaga maging nanay, lahat kinakatakutan:)

Someday---hope di ka maoffend sa tanong ko ha:) bakit ang hilig mo sa "o" minsan lang "u" di ba merong filipino na subj from elem to college...minsan gusto kong magreply sa mga tanong mo pero parang nangongongo ako kapag nagbabasa ako ng comment mo kaya skip ko nalang msg mo...hope u wont mind me asking:) peace out.

Di ko pa tinitimbang ulit si Letcher pero last doctor's visit nya (Sept. 17) nasa 17 lbs lang sya. I'm sure bumigat na sya ulit ngayon kasi 3 x ko na sya pinapakain ng baby food as per his doctor's advice.

I already thought about of mixing cereal to his baby food kaya lang I'm thinking na baka ma-over na si Zac sa cereal kasi I mix 7 teaspoons of cereal on his 10 oz milk bottle. If I don't do that eh malamang isang luglugan lang yung 10 oz milk nya Malakas uminom ng milk si Zac, he normally drinks 40 oz of milk a day. Last summer since mainit, he drank 50 oz a day. He is not into juices, I tried pero mga 2 oz a day lang naiinom nya and he will still drink 40 oz of milk.

He spits the baby food in his mouth na which is a sign na he is ready na to eat table food, that was according to what I read. and aside from that, he is in the right age na naman to eat table food. Right now, he enjoy eating baby cookies. I give him cookies in between meals. I'll try fresh fruits and vegetables na rin and also, I have to learn how to cook "lugaw" and "champorado" I am thinking he might like those foods. He loves mashed potatoes and mashed squash. My neighbor cooked pinakbet one time then I mashed the "kalabasa" and gave it to him and he oohh so loved it

I steamed some veggies (is a better alternative to boiling) and ran them in a Ninja food processor (i love this gadget!) then mixed it with her meats. Fruits na nga lang binibili ko in baby food kasi it's hard to keep fruits plus limited ang selection what with the weather and all. And mahal na ang 3rd stage food, samantalang ang squash e 89cents a pound, green beans are $1.53 a pound (madami na yun a)and baby carrots are $1.58 a pound --- and these will last a long time. I never mixed cereal in maizy's milk as I have read it isn't really a good practice; she eats it with milk...medyo thicker ang ginagawa ko so that mas maraming cereal kesa milk...yung milk nya, hiwalay na pinapainom ko. Cereals are "go" foods which, with what she can do now, kelangang-kelangan nya. She stands by herself and will walk with one hand held. and she has learned how to go up the steps. She has the same car as Zac does (iba nga lang kulay) and she would rather push it while walking than ride on it. Have you gone to the wholesomebabyfood website? You should, if you haven't

di naman kasi talaga advisable yung lubid na duyan, lalo for a 10-month old or any baby who is "on-the-go", so to speak. My eldest slept with me in my room when she was a baby, but not in the bed; she was in her crib. so that getting her to sleep by herself when she was bigger was never a problem. Maizy began using her crib when she was 5 months old and stays in her own room. We did not put it at the higher levels but at the lowest level na kaagad as we knew that she could learn to climb and stand in the crib any time. There is virtually nothing in her crib with her save for the mattress and crib sheet and a comforter we laid on the sheet when the weather got cold...no toys whatsoever, even stuffed animals. the bars on her crib are straight, no curves on it which she may learn to climb up on, hence she won't be able to climb out the crib...and she can't it her head between the bars either. She has no problem sleeping in her own room. Of course, andyan ang baby monitor. We never really had her sleep with us in the bed, or if we did, it was just an hour or so. Otherwise, sa bassinet sya. Masasanay kasi if we let her sleep with us in our bed. So her transitioning to her crib and own room was not a problem.

my nearest relatives are 3 and 6 hours away and hubby's are 12 hours away, so walang kamag-anak na nag-throw ng baby shower for me. my hubby's co-workers did my baby shower, about 2 weeks before I gave birth. Nothing special as we had begun to p;ut together Maizy's things about a month after the positive pregnancy test so that a month before she was born, she had all the furniture, clothes, and what-nots that she needed. So we requested loads and loads of diapers na lang.

Sorry to say but you will not find a store anywhere that does not sell items made in china. e pati body wash ng walmart, made in china. I registered at all 3 that you mentioned and walmart as well. There is a nearby burlington baby depot where we live so I get to go there at least once a month. They have sale events almost year round so that we bought Maizy's car seats there with a %20 off coupon on top of sale prices And their prices are definitely lower than babies r us.

i haven't bought anything yet for the baby because early part of this year, i had a miscarriage and underwent d and c procedure. thank God, i got pregnant right away. about the baby stores, i have been scouting though the prices and the items in different stores here. burlington is really cheap. you did well about your baby stuff

i think i will shop baby's stuff this coming thanksgiving.

In my case, it was my sisters-in-law who threw my baby shower. I have 4 sisters-in-law, yung dalawa dun is kapitbahay namin, yung isa 8 blocks lang layo and yung isa is 10 mins away lang ang house by car from our house, so in short, madali nilang naplan yung baby shower.

In terms of the regisrty, hindi na ako nagparegister in any stores kasi nahiya ako Believe it or not, meron ako nun kahit unti Tinanong lang nila ako kung ano pa ang mga kailangan ng baby, nung una nahihiya akong sabihin pero kinausap nila ako na dapat sabihin ko kailangan pra hindi magkadoble doble ang gift at pra maibigay kung ano talaga ang kailangan ng baby. So, sinabi ko na lang sa kanila tas bahala na sila kung saan sila baby. Ayoko naman kasi magsabi kung saan ko sila gusto bumili or kung anong brand ang gusto ko.

Everything is made in China na. You'll barely see something na made in the USA, swerte mo kapag nakakita ka. Burlington Factory is a good store and I find Target's stuff has more fashionable design than Walmart's.

pink, maraming salamat. you're right, ang baby registry ay hindi uso sa kultura natin pero kung iisipin ay praktikal nga naman lang. everything is made in china na talaga. papapuntahin ko dito ang nanay ko sa december para sa panganganak ko, sana ay makabili sa pilipinas ng mga gamit ni baby hehe.. para makatipid din ng konti.

mahirap pala dito na buntis ka and kayod kalabaw din. working kasi ako. pagod na pagod ako pag hapon and malayo ang work ko from home so super drive ang beauty ko. super bumababa na ang IQ ko pag sunset na rin scary yung nangyari sa akin last week. nabangga ko ba naman ang trailer ng kapitbahay namin. nagasgasan ko and nagkaroon pa ng dent ang brand new truck ng asawa ko. buti naman at safe ako and ang baby. (kaya kahit out of budget ay kailangan kong magpaayos ng gasgas) ngayon naman ay nag-run ako sa red light at malapit na akong makabangga ng isang kotse.

yung baby ko table food na sya... pero di ko pa natatry yung fruits sa kanya di ko pa kasi naisip na pakainin sya ng fruits pero im planning to feed him papaya. dati nung umpisa i really smash the rice pero now hindi na.... so far wala pa syang allergy sa kahit anong food... I feed him anything we eat except sa mga hindi pa talaga pwede sa kanya like chips kasi I want him to gain weight hindi kasi malakas yung pag gain nya ng weight. Yung baby food nya from wic naka stand by na lang then yung cereal hinahalo ko na sa milk nya i put two scoop of rice cereal sa 8 oz na milk nya kasi we are always out everyday and para di rin masayang...

about sa finger food... natatawa ako sa baby ko kasi pag tinatamad na syang isubo yung puff sa bibig nya gamit kamay nya, kukunin nya yung puff gamit yung mouth nya na parang aso.

yung concern ko now is yung ehem ng baby ko... hay yung baby ko is curious na sa ehem nya hehehehe... then today as I was cleaning his ehem na notice ko na on the side part parang nagdikit ulit yung skin sa head ng ehem nya its very thin skin lang naman... thats why sa appointment nya this month I will tell his pedia about it kasi I want it to be fixed...maybe another circumcision?? I dont know...we never thought na pwede pa pala yung dumikit ulit yung skin... but other than than his ehem is healthy.

about sa kanyang development: there are times he makes 4 to 5 steps without holding anything only when he is not being told to do so...but if we want him to walk he wont do it. And pag pinapalakad lakad ko na hawak yung isang kamay di naman nagseseryoso sa paglalakad... tumatawa then parang kiti kiti kung kumilos kaya i just let him do it by himself.

anyway, I have a question pala kasi uuwi kami early next year, I want to ask kung sino yong nag report ng birth ng anak nila dito sa consulate and how long does it takes to get the confirmation? tsaka how long nkuha yung Philippine passport nila?

They are just illiterate pretending to be literate in terms of language structure...yan ka ba?

wow there are really some cute babies in this forum. gaganda at gwagwapo ng mga kids ah. hehehe. i'm about 5 months pregnant and my hubby and I have found out it's going to be a boy. so we're super excited.

being pregnant and working is taking its toll on me though pero okay lang. go go pa rin. anybody know pala where i can get pik-nik shoestring potatoes hot flavor? i think i've been having cravings for it really bad and i can't seem to find any except original where i live or even online. i have been here in the US for 9 months and i have yet to form a bond with anyone from my home country. i haven't come across a whole lot of pinays here in oregon. if anyone from here is out there, holler!
