Need a ASAP answer please..

ask ako kasi c baby JM ung pisngi nya dry skin tapos nilagyan namin ng vaseline. now hindi na sya dry, but ang problema nanaman cge nya kamot

naga basa2x man ung pisngi nya ng tubig, tapos ang pula2x.. tapos sa sobrang kamot nya minsan naga dugo na. kaya naka gloves sya now. anong pwdeng gawin?? sino baby nagka ganon??

worried me talaga kasi i know makati.. stop ko gamit ng vaseline and aveeno kasi d naman dry kundi naga basa sya. cge ko punas para mag dry kasi

naga tubig eh.. ano pwde gawin bago eh punta sa DR alam muna ang mahal dito tapos sabihin lang din ng DR hayaan.. baka meron d2 naka experience pwde

Be careful on what you put on your baby's face. Kelan pa ba yun nag umpisa? If after 3 days na I will suggest that you call his pedia first thing tomorrow. Kasi if you will wait for so long it might get infection... and your baby will feel more missirable. So, pls call the Dr even if it's expensive! Sounds that your baby needs to have an immediate and proper treatment. If the Dr will tell you na hayaan lang then you have to insist that your baby needs treatment. I agree with you that doctors here in the US are very expensive... but in return I will expect that my baby, your baby will receive a proper care and treatment from the pedia.

My baby drools a lot since she was 2 months old and I pay close attention on her. I always pat dry her dripping saliva to avoid skin irritation. I used aveeno and j&j products sa baby ko noon but she got mild skin rashes noong one moth old pa sya so stop ko na ang pag gamit. I got a lot from my baby shower na sayang lang. My baby's pedia recommend cetaphil cream to put on my baby's face and body (apply 3 times a day) then cetaphil cleanser for my baby's bath head to toe (every other day ko lang xa pinaliguan). So far so good, medyo mahal lang but my baby deserve it...he... he...

Tama si RR na mag careful ka if lagyan mo ng baby powder ang baby mo. I never used baby powder sa baby ko kasi I read it online na it's not good for the baby if ma breath in nila. It can cause a damage on their lungs.

Please let us know kung anong update sa baby mo... kawawa nman ni JM.

RR- Sa Mindanao kami uuwi pero di rin naman kami magtatagal don kasi nga gustong magbabad ng asawa ko sa dagat.

Ay buti ka pa daming time...ako nga din minsan nakakailang beses magbasa dito sa VJ kasi ito lang naman ang ginagawa ko pag nasa computer ako..minsan FB hehehe. Gusto mo eh chat tayo minsan hehehe.

Shiela-wawa naman baby mo..si Jacob nga meron din sa leeg..laging namumula..ang problema ko ngayon eh marunong ng magkamot ayun kamot sya ng kamot. Yong cream naman na prescribed ng DR wala namang silbi.Di ko rin alam kung ano pwede dyan sa face ng baby mo:(

Thanks rr! Cute din baby mo ah! Medyo busy lang ako. Hindi pa ako nag work ngayon kasi ayaw ng hubby ko na iba ang mag alaga sa baby namin. Maybe magwork ako pag nandito na ang mama at papa ko. Hay, kelan pa kaya. Hindi ko pa na send yong 1-130 petition sa USCIS hintay pa ako sa Marriage cer nila.

when i was in the hospital for 16 days, i never had LPN only CNA and RN... I can say the CNA had the easiest job than the RN when I was there... CNA only take vitals...helped me to wash but most of the time it was the RN who did take almost all the responsibilities.

nobody wants to be big and huge especially when the person used to be skinny and small... hehehehehe...

...Tell me that place, because I need a vacation.

In a nursing home, at least from my experience between 4 nursing homes, it is a race from the time I get to work until PAST quitting time just to get the work done for the night as a CNA. The entire time we work with the majority of the residents having dementia, many who are abusive. The mental, emotional and physical stress is intense. It is the CNA who does the majority of the hands-on work. I was a soldier in the infantry during war time and under fire and the stress wasnt as bad overall as what I experience as a CNA in a nursing home. Maybe that is because the stress is pretty much continuous, hour by hour and day after day without any change or let-up, ever. My back is ruined from the heavy lifting I do daily, many times a day. Being a guy who is rather large I end up assisting many of my co-workers because I am stronger. As a CNA you get hit, scratched, threatened and yelled and screamed at, because of the affects dementia has on the human brain. That is just part of the disease.

I can assure you the role of a CNA in a nursing home is far more than taking vitals and assisting with washing. It is racing from the first moment you report to work to first answer the call lights, then give complete showers to no less than 5 people, most who are totally dependent, unable to do a thing for themselves, people who get very angry and aggitated and abusive at times. It is trying to give answers and provide comfort to family members who are going through grieving as they watch their tormented family member die a horrible death. It is checking for injuries and skin breakdown, feeding them by hand, changing them over and over again each night, handling soiled linens and diapers, and giving them patient and thorough care even as they swear at you and try to harm you. It is dealing with highly infectious diseases even as they are trying to spit you in the eye. It is holding their hand and singing a comforting hymn together with them to calm their heart and soul. it is kneeling by their bed and praying with them as their sister has just died and they were unable to attend the funeral, then kneeling by their bed when 2 weeks later their husband has died, then kneeling by their bed again and praying with them as they just learned they have inoperable cancer, then kneeling by thier bed and praying again as it is their own night to die from their own illness. Being a CNA... you have to be one I guess to understand what it is like.

My wife tells me each day to have a good day at the gym as I leave for work.. hehe.

Meron nga daw pampers Ok lang kahit maliit na package lang kasi ang hirap naman pag malaking kahon..balak din kasi namin pumunta ng ibang places pa kaya mahirap din yong maraming bitbit.

Yup first time ko umuwi since dumating ako dito 3 yrs ago. Super excited na nga ako kasi dami ko namiss na food don sa atin..like balut, siomai, halo halo, lahat ng isda..gulay hehehhe..yon pala ang namiss ko. Feeling ko parang wala lang kasi 10 yrs din ako na umalis don sa Mindanao kasi nag work ako sa Laguna. Ang masarap lang kasi mag kasama na kami ng asawa ko..di tulad noon na pag hatid mo sa airport sobrang lungkot...this time kasama na ako papunta at pabalik

Hello sa lahat ng mommies nag give sa akin ng advice it helps. ay d ma naka 2log kagabi kasi cge ko check ang pisngi ni JM kasi naga basa2x

pero now hindi na stop ko ang vaseline, then lagat ako aveeno ulit.. then itong aquaaphor. it helps medyo pula2x nalang face nya.. tapos stop ako

gamit ng Johnson products. sabi ng DR ni JM before dove gamitin.. so now un na gamit ko,

thank u, thank u. observe ko muna.. kasi 1st dry skin naga crack ung skin ni JM nong nilagyan ko vaseline na okey na. tapos now baka na sobrahan

sa vaseline nanamn kaya naga basa2x.. pero now nagaliit na ung red sa face nya..

@Eve, papalitan ko nga yung selsum blue na yan kasi prang feeling ko lumala ng unti eh. Papabili ako nung Cradle Cap Care na sinabi ng kapitbahay ko kasi yung anak nya tindi ng cradle cap eh nawala na daw dahil dun. Nilalagyan ko din ng oil hair ni Zac dati pero walang epek sa kanya. Baka naman kaya si Jacob takot sa water sa bathroom kasi malakas yung tunog ng flush? Yung ibang toddler na alam ko ay takot umupo sa inodoro kasi may fear sila na masasama sila sa loob kapag naglfush na. Mejo nakakatawwang isipin pero totoo yun. Napanood ko sa TV, yung Nanny 911

Feeling ko nga magskip to sa roll over eh. La kasi talagang sign na magroroll-over cya. Kapag tummy time na eh nagsquirm naman cya pero kasabay ng pagquirm ay iyak at galit pa lol! Lam mo nakakamove cya ng ilang inches. Napansin namin na nakamove cya ng mga 5 inches nakita ko nga mga pics ni Jacob sa FB at kung saan sana na cya gumagapang Ang galing ha! Salamat sa pagbati

@Brijo, I am glad to know that you have a job now and back to school. My hubby was a CNA and like you, he studied and became a nurse. I agree with you that the CNA has the toughest job in the nursing industry (that's according to hubby). Well, sometimes they take advantage if you are a man in the nursing home (hubby works in nursing home too). They make him lift patients because he is the only male nurse on his shift. In return, I massage his whole body on the night before his off to make his body relax Good Luck on your studies and let us now if your wife already gave birth. And of course we expect pictures of your baby hehehe Keep up the good work

@Marybeth, working mo ka na pala Anong work mo sa hotel. Sana ako rin makapagwork na soon. Pero kasi naman si Greg ang gusto magwork ako kapag 2 years old na si Zac. Laki na ng baby mo ha. Seems like masmalaki pa kay Zac .

@Doc Gracey, buti naman at nawala na pala yung cradle cap ni Maizy. Ang pinapakain ko lang kay Zac na baby food ay 2.5 oz a day. ANg gawain ko ganito, 1.2 oz of fruit pra sa brunch nya tapos 1.2 oz of veggies naman for dinner. Tapos he drinks 40 ounces of milk with cereal everyday.

I noticed din na rosy cheeks si Maizy, ang cute tignan Si Zac din rosy cheeks kasi may rashes pisngi Si Zac naman ay lagi akong sinasabunutan lol!

@Sweetpink, talaga? Meron dito si Zac na Huggies Natural Care shampoo na nakuha namin from baby shower. DI ko pa ginagamit kasi pinapaubos ko muna yung J&J. Matry nga yun muna. Salamat sa tip at sana umepek yan hehe.

@Lykatodd, I think I had the same weight as yours when I was 27 weeks preggy. Balitaan mo kami sa result ng glucose test mo ha.

@Shiela, cut his fingernails if you notice na mahaba haba na pra di magsugat yung kinakamot nya. Ganyan ginagawa ko kay Zac kasi like JM, he likes scratching his face. I make him put gloves din minsan.

@Princess, thanks for the greetings Ako din di ko nilalagyan ng powder si Zac kasi nga di daw maganda yun kapag nainhale nila yun. Di naman mabantot si Zac so ok lang kahit di nalagya ng powder hehe. Pero sabi nila kung gusto daw lagyan ng powder eh masadvisable yung powder lotion ba yun? Powder cya pero lotion type kasi yung pulbos eh hindi lumilipad lipad kaya massafer daw.

@Zeb Den, si Jacob po ang anak ni Eve at si Zac naman ang baby ko. Nahawa ka na rin sa baby swapping disease ni te Riza Sana kami rin makauwi this year kagaya nyo, pero mukhang malabo.

Si Zac naman ay tili na ng tili. Minsan masakit na sa tenga lalo na kapag sobrang saya nya lol! tas ngayon ang gusto nya eh yung tinatayo na cya. Umiiyak cya minsan kasi gusto nya pinapatayo cya ayaw nyang palaging nakahiga na at nakaupo. Ipapaubos ko lang tong diaper nya na number 2 tas magnumber 3 na cya

He likes fruits better than vegetables which is normal naman sa mga babies yung ganun di ba? But he likes squash, carrots, he is not so with peas and he really doesn't like green beans. At first he doesn't like peas pero nag-iba ihip ng hangin at naubos nya yung peas kahapon. Yung green beans talagang umiiyak cya kapag sinusubo ko sa kanya. Niluluwa nya. It was very messy when he had his first meal kasi di pa cya marunong. He sucks his spoon like he sucks his milk bottle. Akala nya kasi ganun din ang pagkain hehe. But now he is better na kasi he opens his mouth everytime he sees the spoon close to his mouth (except kapag green beans ).

We just assembled na his playpen pra doon ko na lang cya iiwan kapag may gagawin ako. Kasi before, iniiwan ko lang cya sa couch pero natatakot kami na baka bigla na lang cyang gumulong at malaglag so sa playpen na lang cya with his toys. Nakakatuwa kasi he talks to himself na. Yung para bang meron na cyang imaginary friend Dati dadaldal lang cya kapag may kausap cya pero now iwan ko lang cya sa playpen tas dumadaldal na mag-isa lol!

baby ko naman hindi sya matatakutin...about sa vacuum or vaccum (ay ewan nakalimutan ko na ang spelling) he doesnt cry anymore instead natatahimik lang sya ang di kumikibo. hehehehehe...bakit nga talagang matakutin baby mo?

brijo, my cousin married a guy from new zealand and she is working as a cna too taking care of people with dementia...plus there was a movie in the philippines for CNA or cargivers so i can imagine how hard it is...you need to need your job or love your job to be able to survive everyday. hehehehe...but the cna in the hospital where I was... some of them are so relax, they can even talk on the phone...sometimes they get inside my room and talk on the phone...everytime i press the call light...if i know that the cna cant do it il immediately tell them that I want my nurse than telling them what I want because all they will say is I will call your nurse. Sometimes there are a bit stupid CNA who cant understand simple things its so dissappointing especially when you are in your worst situation and they will just keep on saying WHAT?

pink, about nga pala sa swing...it helps me na sa ngayon only when he is getting sleepy...but kahapon hay buti na lang nasa tabi ko sya kasi nga i dont put straps when he's on the swing kasi ayaw nya...yun he rolled over sa swing half of his body fell. baby ko naman hindi inches lang yung pag galaw nya when he is on his tummy...when he see something he will really try hard just to get near to be able to put it in his mouth. ganun din baby ko lagi na lang tumitili or sumisigaw...minsan kahit sobrang late na and gising pa sya kasi di pa kami natutulog hay he will just keep on screaming... ako na lang ang nahihiya kasi baka magreklamo ang kapitbahay namin kaya yun minsan pinapakain ko kahit sobrang late na or pina pa off ko na ang tv or ilaw or go to sleeping mode na kami para lang tumahimik na sya.

about naman sa pagtayo...well medyo nakakarelax na ako dyan kasi we found another bouncer its a fisher price rainforest jumperoo...its still good as new kasi yung unang bouncer na nakita namin is okay sya kaso plastic kasi and we didnt find it safe for him kaya tinapon namin ulit before. Itong nakita namin is metal yung stand nya kaya okay talaga... we didnt buy one kasi my hubby thought na baka masaktan baby namin or di niya magustuhan but since nga nakakita kami ulit ng bouncer hay sobrang saya ko at least free...and meron pa sanang mga toys kaso naunahan ako nung isang babae hinakot nya lahat gusto pang kunin yung bouncer hahahaha...yung bouncer lang kasi ang talagang pinagkainteresan ko since it will be very useful for our baby.
