Questions about filliing out an I-130 form

My wife and I are sitting here right now filling out the I-130 form to deliver it by DCF to the embassy in Beijing on Tuesday.

We have a few questions:

1) My wife is Russian and has a patronimic name, so does anyone know how to handle this situation? The 'English' side of her russian passport reflects only first and last name but her name in Russian on her russian passport reflects her first name, last name and patronimic name.

2) My wife doesn't have a 'Middle' name, so should I live it blank or put 'N/A' or 'None' in the field. I know the instructions state not to leave any fields blank, but I don't want to run the risk of them thinking her middle name is 'none'

3) for #7 on her side of the form 'Other Names Used', should her Patronimic name be put in here?

4) for #10 on her side of the form 'Alien Registration Number', would this be the number in her Passport or the ID she uses when she is in her country (Russia)?

5) for #15 on her side of the form 'Name and address of present employer', does this apply to her employer if she was already in the US and employed or should we list her current employer here in China? (not a U.S. company)

6) I know I should know this one but I was looking at my divorce papers and I couldn't decided if the official 'Date of Divorce' was the date stamped all over the 'JUDGEMENT' (it was a California divorce). It doesn't specifically state "YOUR DIVORCE ENDED ON BLAH BLAH BLAH. It says: DATE MARITAL OR DOMESTIC PARTNERSHIP STATUS ENDS: UPON ENTRY OF JUDGEMENT.

So I'm assuming that the official stamp and date on the 'JUDGEMENT' papers would be the official divorce date.

Thank you for everything. :star:

Patronymic name is a Eastern European thing. It is not a middle name. When I filled out the forms I put N/A so there would be no confusion.

We have a few questions:

1) My wife is Russian and has a patronimic name, so does anyone know how to handle this situation? The 'English' side of her russian passport reflects only first and last name but her name in Russian on her russian passport reflects her first name, last name and patronimic name.-I would put the "english" version of her name on the forms when filing

2) My wife doesn't have a 'Middle' name, so should I live it blank or put 'N/A' or 'None' in the field. I know the instructions state not to leave any fields blank, but I don't want to run the risk of them thinking her middle name is 'none' -N/A or NONE would be acceptable here, whichever you feel better about.

3) for #7 on her side of the form 'Other Names Used', should her Patronimic name be put in here?- If she used this name in her country for things like bills and official documents it would be good to place that name here.

4) for #10 on her side of the form 'Alien Registration Number', would this be the number in her Passport or the ID she uses when she is in her country (Russia)? -Alien Registration number is NOT your passport number! Unless she has applied for a greencard/visa previously I doubt she even has one, which is OK! Put None or N/A

5) for #15 on her side of the form 'Name and address of present employer', does this apply to her employer if she was already in the US and employed or should we list her current employer here in China? (not a U.S. company)-Current employer

~Not sure on this one, maybe other members with more experience can help!

So I'm assuming that the official stamp and date on the 'JUDGEMENT' papers would be the official divorce date.

Thank you for everything. :star:

( PUT HER ENGLISH NAME WHERE THEY ASK ENGLISH NAME AND PUT HER RUSSIAN NAME ( FULL NAME ) ON THE OTHER IF SHE HAS NO MIDDEL NAME PUT N/A

2) My wife doesn't have a 'Middle' name, so should I live it blank or put 'N/A' or 'None' in the field. I know the instructions state not to leave any fields blank, but I don't want to run the risk of them thinking her middle name is 'none' ( NO MIDDEL NAME THEN N/A)

3) for #7 on her side of the form 'Other Names Used', should her Patronimic name be put in here?( YES ,JUST IN CASE )

4) for #10 on her side of the form 'Alien Registration Number', would this be the number in her Passport or the ID she uses when she is in her country (Russia)? ( NO I DONT THINK SO, IF IT WAS PASSPORT # THEY WOULD ASK THAT) i PUT N/A ON MINE SENCE MY HUSBAND HAS NOT BEEN TO THE U.S

5) for #15 on her side of the form 'Name and address of present employer', does this apply to her employer if she was already in the US and employed or should we list her current employer here in China? (not a U.S. company) ( PUT THE JOBS IN ORDER THEY ASK FOR PRESNET JOB PUT IT EVEN IF ITS NOT A US COMPANY THEY ASK FOR THE PAST 6MONTHS I BELIVE TO LIST THEM IF SHE HAS THEM) **
