Lived and worked in the Philippines for quite a while when I was in the Navy. I also have a lot of Filipino friends. As a matter of fact, I'm heading to Vegas tomorrow to visit one of my old Navy buddies whose wife is from Baybay, Lete. I speak more Tagalog than he could ever dream of!!! :lol: Filipinas either hate me or love me, depending on whether they want to keep secrets! :devil:

Oh yeah... almost forgot... I was married to a Filipina for 6 1/2 years back in the 80s! :blush:

Was she the bestest wife?

Damn I need to stop with this joke really.

Lets just say I knew plenty who weren't, especially the ones married to sailors! :whistle: So I'm a little biased on that whole topic, and have to constantly bite my tongue. Lets say there is a reason why I'm married to a Thai woman instead of a Pinay! :blush:

Damn, sounds like one of those people who think lightly of the huge step that is going through these processes, so much more than moving in together, getting married, whatever with someone from your own town. It's a lot more expensive plus people are actually leaving their lives behind. Not to be on the wall at all.
