I feel like having a conversation with Jehovah witnesses when I read that filipino thread

many years ago the witnesses started coming to my house. asked repeatedly for them to stop. one day when they arrived I flung the door open, naked as a jay bird. insisted they come in, needless to say they were in a hurry to leave. never came back

Nik was visiting when they first came to visit me, I'd had Mormons before, but never the Witnessers. They handed over some brochures, and I just wanted to get rid of them (for obvious reasons...), so it was sort of like to telemarketers, "Thanks, but I'm not interested, have a nice day". They said 'Oh, we usually ask for a donation for those.' (the brochures) I'll admit to not thinking it through very well, but I am easily flustered and ended up with something like "Oh, well I don't have any cash, sorry good bye." Closed the door, kept the bits of paper. Guess I did my little part to make it more expensive to bother us outsiders.

Though I have to say my old room mate and his Witnesser friend together are the FUNNIEST guys I know. Sides always splitting, so I've got no beef with the individuals...

The Mormons were more difficult, I was even younger (15? 16?), and home alone after school. It was one of those SCORCHER days in Phoenix, and I made the mistake of saying to the two red faced and sweating guys that they looked like they needed some water...Well, they smelled the blood of a potential convert in the water and wouldn't leave me alone! Finally they made a follow up visit when my mother was home and I hid while SHE sent them away. LOL!

Hi Sister Nagi, for the longest time I couldn't understand your avatar either. It took me a while to realize it was Native American warriors "fighting terrorism since 1492".

I had seen it before, a guy had it on his cube at work. It's a very clever image! :)

I think it's saran. He's posting all over the polls and OT threads, even the Wow! Philippine thread. Sounds like Saran to me.

I bet the devil account is kicked out by tomorrow when the mods are back.

When a newbie (not using the noob word here) comes to VJ, they usually post directly at the forum they're looking info for, or at the most, the welcome thread, you almost never see a newbie posting in OT topics or regional topics until after they're familiar with VJ or have been redirected to the regional forums.

So a newbie posting erratically around like that always smell like Troll to me, or a n00b, or Saran. <_<

I was in middle of typing this when it got moved to OT :crying:

Can the troll please stop posting on IR-1 forum or any other upper forums please. OP is K-1 visa applicant according to his profile, so why CR-1/IR-1? Let these forums be for what they are meant for-- Discussing IMMIGRATION QUESTIONS............not for baiting, not for who makes the best wife, not for praying to god to grant visa.

This is an off topic discussion, so take it there.
