I read that yesterday, don't get me wrong but it irritates me whenever I hear that -- Filipinas makes the best wife.

First how do you know they make the best wives? Have you lived in any other household where the female is from some other country? So because I am from India or someone else is from Canada, they don’t treat their husband with love and respect? Only Filipinas know the perfect formula of how to keep your husband happy?

And second I find it demeaning towards their own Filipino crowd, being the “best wife” is everything in the world? There were a few posters saying it pretty boldly how it’s their husband's rules which they follow and how he is the king and all those blah blahs. I just find it an uneasy situation where the partner (male or female) lower their status in the relationship to please the other one or to prove some kind of point which is beyond my comprehension.
