Just a continuation of a previously visited thread. The OP (sock puppet troll?) has not been back, but it makes me wonder why my wife and other Filipinas are so quick to jump on their Pinay sisters and side with Kanos?

i think the guy's wife could provide a nicer demonstration of what she was discussing with her relatives other than what she did. i think the guy's verbal reaction was understandable.

one reason that the filipinas got all over her is, that is not normal pinay character. now, with that said, just as anyone else, they can be provoked! their family is very near the heart for them. if you cross the line where the family is concerned, they are quick to respond. her lack of language skills, could have led to the frustrations causing her to lash out in a physical manner. the verbal reaction was understandable, however probably inappropriate. unless a man is locked in a room with a female preventing escape, allowing physical force is unacceptable, IMO....

So yelling and beating your husband isn't normal? The horrors, now I will be sent to jail for beating him up everyday :crying:

On a serious note, a couple of posters in that thread gave me some much needed chuckle. One saying how if you yell, relationship is weak.....yeah right, everyone lives in a paradise with everything being wonderful, you feed each other grapes and husband brings flowers everyday. Yup that's how wonderful life I live.

And wonderful Norie is always wonderful.

By the way call me crazy or whatever but at least once in my life I do want to enter a jail, just to see how it is like to be locked up

if it was only to beat lice (lousy way to kill one) ... she could have at least said "sorry I didn't mean to hit so hard" to defuse whatever reaction he exhibited. but since it was slightly "off camera" she probably made up a convenient excuse to cover her desire to tag him one.
