One question again..Im just curious about Port of Entry..I will be flying to Florida on or before July(im crossing my finger that i will be able to get my interview sched asap, pls pray for me...) where will be my port of Entry?What are the usual questions being asked?thanks for the help fellow vj's!

A thread or link showing port of entries is highly solicited thanks...

06.19.2010 - papers arrived at Chicago lockbox

06.24.2010 - Check cashed

06.28.2010 - NOA1 Hardcopy received (9 days from the day they got our papers)

07.05.2010 - Received Biometrics Schedule (July 26)

08.05.2010 - Biometrics done! (had to re-schedule from 7/26 to 8/5)

08.13.2010 - Got my interview letter

08.20.2010 - EAD card on production

09.06.2010 - Got my EAD Card (62 days)

09.07.2010 - Applied for SSN

09.14.2010 - SSN Card received

09.16.2010 - Interview schedule (APPROVED)

09.20.2010 - Welcome Notice Received ("Welcome to the USA")

09.25.2010 - 10 yr Green Card received! (98 days)

Your POE will be where you book on your airline flight.

It will be the first place you touch down on US Soil or US Territory......

Anyone know why Vegas is not among those on the link the Pinko provided? So few ladies arrive in Vegas? That's what I've been thinking about, because it's closer to me, and less of a drive back home with a tired new immigrant. :)

Just land in either SFO or LAX for your POE

Then take a domestic flight to Vegas.

I always woundered that myself, since PAL flys back and forth to Las Vegas 5 times a week via Vancouver. I had made the trip several times, so Las Vegas can be the point of entry, as it will be for my wife, because although you get off the plane in Vancouver, you are held at the gate and cannot go anywhere. So Las Vegas will be point of entry into US. :unsure:

That depends on your route based on your plane ticket...If you will have connecting flights, as TCO said, it's usually the first place you touch down that is within the US territory.

Hi..I travelled from Manila to here in Florida.My hubby bought the ticket at Continental Airlines so me and my daughter route was Manila-Guam-Honolulu-Houston-Tampa-Tallahassee

My POE was in Guam bcoz that's the first US Territory where we landed.

Which city of Florida you are coming?

N-400 Naturalization

04/25/2012 - sent N-400 package to USCIS Dallas

04/28/2012 - package delivered at USCIS Dallas

I-751 Removal of Condition

03/22/2011 - sent I-751 package to USCIS Vermont via USPS Priority+Certified mail with Return receipt

03/24/2011 - package delivered at VSC according to USPS tracking

03/25/2011 - package received by Center Director according to Return receipt

04/04/2011 - NOA received - dated 03/25/2011

04/11/2011 - Biometrics Appointment Notice received -notice date 04/08/2011

04/28/2011 - Biometrics Appointment - Done!

10/14/2011 - Card Production Email

10/17/2011 - Approval Notice received - dated 10/06/2011

11/04/2011 - 10yrs green card received
