Check "a". You will have an immigrant visa number immediately available to you if your husband has/is filing form I-130 (petition for alien relative) concurrently with your I-485.

Took me some time to figure that out too. and don`t forget to include a copy of signed form I-130 with your I-485 to prove that you`re eligible for filing your I-485.

Thank you so much for answering, The lawyer told me to file for I-130 marriage petition/I-285 permanent residentand I-765 and send them all in one envelope... should i still choose option "A" in my form I765? or just check the "other" option?

Thank you in Advance !

hey, hey, hey... Don`t mix up the forms. You should check "a" on your form I-485 Part 2 (NOT I-765) where it says "I am applying for an adjustment to permanent resident status because:

a. An immigrant petition giving me an immediately available immigrant visa number that has been approved....etc...."

I-485 is your application to adjust status and I-765 is your application for Employment Authorization

if you have any doubts/questions on how to fill out form I-765, here`s an Example

Good luck!
