My family and friends got over the fact that they could not come to our wedding - rather quickly, actually. (Particularly when I came back to the USA lol) And I had a few bittersweet moments about not having the traditional church wedding in America. But our wedding was in a church, and it was lovely, and we did have a great honeymoon in Delhi! And later, when I moved there for nine months, we had a great SECOND honeymoon in Shimla! Maybe we'll have our third honeymoon in Florida??

What matters is that you are married, and that you have a committed relationship. Where you got married and who was there doesn't really matter in the long run...

Oh - and if you can, get video of the ceremony! I wish we'd done that for my family (and myself, since I was so excited, I don't remember much about the ceremony! lol)

All the best,

Catie

thanks Arun and Catie! it won't be long now. i actually packed yesterday, i am usually a last minute (as in a few hours before i leave, scrambling to get everything done) kind of packer. but i promised my fiance and my mom both that i would actually pack earlier, lol. they both think i am crazy when i wait so long, hehehe. i am looking forward to this. i am also looking forward to get the ball rolling again after feeling so stagnant for so long. it has already been over a year since we blindly applied for the K1. if we knew then what we know now, lets just say we would have planned better  but all things MUST work together for good, and it is not in our hands, but God's. we believe that He is the one who brought us together in the first place since neither of us were "looking" for a relationship in 2007, the relationship found us ;) please all, keep us in your prayers. we are praying for you
