My husband had his biometrics appt on June 2 and still no EAD card  . Also, we recieved a letter our case was transferred to CSC, but nothing on EAD, If they transfer your case to CSC does this mean no interview? I see others who filed after us and already have their EAD card. Should we be concerned about no news on the EAD?

Congrats Kiwiana! For all you who have your interview letters, did they come in the mail or if you have signed up for email updates do you get an email first? Just wondering what I should be obsessively checking. I have been looking on uscis.gov for touches, but that doesn't seem to be the way!

Update re. my DL - I managed to argue them into giving me one! I came home on Friday with new DL in hand and received my SS# in the mail! Woohoo! I feel so legit. It took off some of the pressure from the green card wait. i was getting really antsy because my Canadian DL expires ion my bday this year, and I was getting cabin fever just thinking about being here without a DL. There's no sidewalks in Little Rock -it's very hard to get around iwthout your own car. No worries now.

I received my interview letter via mail. Didn't get any e-mail updates [i was checking it daily just like you did... then I stopped 'cause I felt like I had OCD or smth lol!] After reading a couple posts, many seem to say that the USCIS online system isn't the most updated way to check where you stand in the process. Even after I received my interview letter nothing has been changed/touched/updated on my I-130 and I-485 case study through USCIS.

Hope this clears your question about the interview letter.

Cheers,

I received my interview letter in the mail on July 7 for August 19th. But we called and had to reschedule, because my husbands company doesn't give their employees any days off (just for court orders) due to the bad automotive industry right now. So he would risk to loose his job. They have every other Friday plant shut down and this is when they are supposed to schedule all appointments.

I am really nervous about that because they say a reschedule request can also cause a denial of your case. :( I am praying every day that this won't happen....

congratulations to everybody else receiving interview letters or getting transferred.

Surely it wouldnt be in their best interests to deny you. Those grounds seem very authentic to me, you cant risk losing your family income. after all that is a requirement of the AOS. Hope everything works out for you, my fingers are crossed!

Two updates for me!! :D

I got my interview letter today!!!!

August 20th!! I think by the look of the spreadsheet I share the date with some other people!

I also got a new job!! Whoot! But I won't be starting for another 2 weeks. I hope I have enough time to build up some

more stuff to bring with us for the interview!!!

I'm also kinda annoyed that I can't bring a lease with me because the current one doesn't expire until end of september

and they won't write anything up until then. I'm sure that'll be okay though.

Congrats everyone who got interviews!! Everyone else -I'm sure you'll get letters soon!! :D
