I'm sure those who are waiting for EAD's will hear something soon!!!

I still don't even understand how mine was processed considering my local office says it's still doing stuff from last year (and it's said that for 2 months now and hasn't changed)

I'm with the Memphis office, and it's the same there. Judging by posts here, it seems like it is taking 5 months to get a green card, but according to the uscis website, it's over 12 months. Makes it hard to plan!

Yeah. Because it seems like everyone from early this year have got their greencard. Only a few who have had a few RFE's were a little later then others.

Oh well I'm not complaining. I'd LOVE to go surprise my parents & siblings for christmas!

hOW I NEED TO DO FOR HAVE MY SOCIAL SECURITY,

THE GREEN CARD IS COMING WITH MY SINGLE NAME? I WANT TO USE MY MARRIED NAME

According to this, the name should come in your married one. And for the SS you need to bring your marriage certif to the SS office.

Ah BTW we got a letter yesterday saying case got transfered to California, so I hope that's good news!.

I just did my biometric yesterday, but there are no updated LUD; I heard that the same day or next day, I485 and I765 should be touched by USCIS......did any bodies have the same experience that no LUD after biometric? =_= Bit worried...

I received my EAD yesterday! For those of you who had already applied for a SS card, did your card have any restriction or a date that its valid until?

Mine's valid for a year with no conditions...

I got a quick question to you guys: Did yours get processed faster than others at your local office? Because when I check the timelines here for Detroit there are still people waiting who applied in April or March to get an interview date? Is that at your offices, too and you just got processed faster or do you fit to the timelines?

Just wondered, when I can except something to happen on my AOS....

Mine's valid for a year with no conditions...

My SS card is not timely limited. But I applied for it during an internship under different conditions than now and just changed my name on that after the wedding. But, it says "only valid for work with DHS authorization". So the company knows to ask for the EAD.

In terms of my local office I seem to be on track. There aren't a lot of people on this board in my area so it's hard to judge. I think my EAD got processed faster though.

It seems right now, that it's between 4-6 months for you to get your greencard (pending RFE's). A few people seem slightly longer but I think it's all situational.

As I've said before, I don't understand the whole time thing because my local office still says it's processing stuff from last August!! But I've looked at other offices who say the same yet I've seen people's greencards get approved. So I'm completely confused on that front.
