did your application get touched after the biometric appt?

Hi Everyone!!!

I am worried, I did My Biometrics on may 30 and I dont have any news yes. I am in west palm beach oficce, Anybody know how is the process here?

because my online case still received and pending,

I hope have good knows soon too.

bye,

kelly

Good morning, everyboday and congraturation on Alice and Kiwie!!!

Hopefully this week most of us will have great update and new steps, acually I'm expecting an interview letter, does here somebody know that who issues the interview letter?it's from NBC or local office?

Have a great day,my fellow may filers:thumbs:

\

I am not sure - I was also wondering if the EAD and AP were administered at NVC or at the local field office. I still haven't been touched since May, and did my biometrics 3 weeks ago. Who else is with me? I am at the Memphis field office.

I don't have any news yet either. But I am at the Detroit field office. I checked the EAD and AOS timelines here in VJ. We are still not the only ones not having the EAD, there are others who went about the same time as we did and are still waiting. So I hope we will have good news soon.

The AOS timeline for Detroit is also pretty long. I guess that office is just not the fastest one...people who applied beginning of this year are still waiting for interview dates or for being forwarded....so I don't know, maybe there are some local offices which are just slower than other ones. I hope that this is the only problem I got with my case.

Yes, mine got touched on the day of the bio and on memorial day (3 days later). Does it mean I will get an RFE??

Hi Everyone!

Hope you all had a great weekend!!! No news here - hoping for some news about my EAD this week!

I DID notice something though. We went and got another copy of our marriage license to keep in my "pink box" as I like to call it.

It's filled with all the stuff we plan to bring to the interview.

Anyways, we got home and I took it out to file it away properly and I noticed my birthdate is wrong on it!!I can't believe I didn't notice

it before!! It says 08/10/1983 vs my real birthday of 10/08/1983!!! Do you think this will be a problem? Should I get it fixed and send

in copies before I get an RFE?!

ACK I'm so mad I didn't notice it after we got married and got our license!

Congrats to MissyK, Alice, kiwie and heatherTR on all your recent developments!!!

Wow, that's a good question. Actually I think USCIS should be able to figure that out. But I think you should have it changed on your license for sure and bring a new copy to the interview. Actually I don't really think that you get an RFE for that. But maybe you want to call them and ask. Or just send it in, it won't hurt.

It is normal that you got touch on EAD and AOS and not AP cuz' the biometrics are actually for AOS and EAD and not for AP.

BTW guys, I received my EAD in the mail today :) Holidays done !

Yeah I think I'll head down there and get it changed this week and just keep it with me until the interview or RFE. I mean, I'm sure they can figure it out.

I'm starting to think that's how I wrote it on our marriage license application because in Canada, it's day-month-year. But you would think they would

have checked that when she took my passport/drivers.

Oh well it's a simple computer fix! I just don't want a delay because of it!!!

That's why I just throw everything in my "pink box" everytime I get something I think I should bring with me.

I have tons of pictures I need to get printed still and put in a nice album.

The main thing I need to do is get on the lease here, but the landlady wouldn't let me until our current lease is up

in september. I doubt I'll have an interview before then anyways. Apparently my local office ( St. Paul) is processing

stuff from last August!!!!!

It actually worries me because we've already paid about $6,000 in deposits for our wedding reception next June.

Now I'm starting to think it wasn't a good idea........ Ugh I don't know if I should cancel it now and loose all my deposits or not.

Congratulations to everyone on their EAD approval. I know it can take 30 days or more, but as more and more people get their EADs approved so quickly after the biometrics, I'm starting to get all anxious. I really need to start working and bringing in some money. Here's hoping the process continues to move quickly and smoothly.
