I filed my AOS+EAD packet in the beginning of May. :] Been reading through multiple different threads regarding AOS from F1 status. VJ has been extremely supportive of each member and helpful. Keep it up! Hope all goes well and best of luck to everyone.

I had a fun weekend competing in a trivia contest. We finished well enough to move on to the finals next weekend, and the top prize is $5,000. That would be sweet!

Welcome Juliette to May filers! Why do you think you will get RFE for medical exam part? I think i will probably get one as i didn't include a TB skin test but i did send in the I-1693. Let's hope that all will be well and there will be no RFE's

Congrats kellygon on your biometrics appointment! Good to hear all went smoothly. I did not know that when you apply for AP you have to go back and get biometrics done for that too. wow! Maybe that is why my case number for AP does not show up on my online case status yet, because i haven't had biometrics for it yet? interesting!

Well, I think that I will have a RFE because I just sent my vaccines sheet, the official one frome France, don't remember the name of this document. I hope that they didn't lose my medical folder and so I won't have problem, we will see...

Thanks~! and actually my hubby's initial is STFU (Shon T. Fu) ... and he has used STFU many times as his e-mail as well as his login name... and often times people misunderstand when he tells them his e-mail add lol. Likewise, I have gotten a lot of 'looks' 'cause my last name is also 'Fu'... '_'

Hello all, my husband got the biometrics apptmt. for June 16th. My question is, should he get another letter for biometrics? or is just one for EAD and the green card?. There was an abbreviation on the letter which I can't remember and didn't sound familiar to me.

Hi Cuchita,

as far as I know you just get one biometrics for the EAD and the AOS. But as Kellygon said you might have to go again for the AP, if you applied for that.

in the Application Type box of my biometrics letter, it specifically said I485 I765.....which meant that it was for both of them...it also had 2 bar codes at the bottom with the receipt numbers of my I485 and I765....so i think that's it for biometrics....no more biometrics.....

i have noticed that it takes 3-5 working days to receive ur letter for biometrics after ur get ur NOA....given that 25th was a holiday, ur 5 working days are over today....so my guess is that you would get the letter today or latest by tomorrow!!!

I had my biometrics appointment today. When I arrived there was only one lady there getting her prints done who was almost finished when I arrived. I signed in, filled out the form and as soon as I went back to sit in the waiting area the lady called me up. It was a lot easier and hassle free than I thought it COULD be considering I was dealing with USCIS. Took longer getting through the security guard!

I also sent off the extra information for my RFE's and that should arrive on Wednesday. I feel a lot better about everything now I just hope nothing vanishes into thin air this time. I sent them two of everything that I know I had sent previously so hopefully it will be harder for them to lose.

I looked at my bank account and it looks like no check have been cleared yet. It's 5 working days now, I think I'm just anxious for this to move forward. I understand some days are quick some days are 2-3 weeks. We shall see.

i mentioned in my previous posts also...but your check will be cashed within 8 working days.....so, dont worry...everything's gonna be alright...

i was the same (or may be worse) as u and everyone else...i used to check my bank account online every day atleast 2-3 times!!!!
