I did that too, didn't want to waist more time finding a doctor, plus according to my hubby they put all the necessary paperwork in the seald envelope and he had all the shots in Chile. He is working right now and don't want to loose the job so I sent everything so he can get the EAD before the I-94 expiration. Hopefully he won't need to quit. I'll keep u posted.

Ah and yes Maliciant (VJ member) also sent his wife's paperwork without the vaccine transc. and she got approved with no REFs.

Hi all - still getting the paperwork together, have a question for you all. When my husband (then-fiance) got his medical exam in Guatemala before he came, he got the Hep B, Polio, and MMR vaccines and the doctor gave him a DS-3025. I thought that would suffice, but I've seen where it is recommended to get it transfered by a civil surgeon to a I-693 (I think I have that # right, don't have my papers in front of me). I haven't called around in this area, I was just going to use Dr. Arnold so Josue wouldn't have to get another full exam. What all did you guys do????

I just took the chance and submited just the DS-3025. I gave it a try and if I get an RFE I still can call Dr. Arnold. But as it is already submitted, I'll get my EAD faster and maybe I can totally save the money for the transfer in the other form. They won't deny you just because of that. They will send you an RFE...

Yes, they will issue the EAD even you got an RFE. The vaccination requirements and the supporting documents from you are both just necessary for the AOS. So take the chance and get the ball rolling.

i went for my biometrics today....in philadelphia.....usually they dont bother if u go early than ur appointment date in philly.....

everything went smoothly though...went in, checked in, waited, gave finger prints, got out.....took me about 1 hour in total.....

I'm still in VA Beach and it's really nice here!

I checked my case status today and surprise surprise my I-485 exists now!!! But my EAD case is still not available...

That's good that you can now see your case online. It's a great feeling to finally see that the case exists! I can see the I-485 and I-765 but not the I-131.

Hi everyone. Just wanted to share our biometrics experience. We got there about 30 mins. early, was about 20 people there. The entire process took about 20 mins., and we were out of there before our original appointment time. So all in all, probably the least aggravating task of the whole process thus far, lol. I checked our case status the following day and we had a touch on both the 485 and the 765...so things are moving right along =)

Excellent! Nice to hear, I shall be going there too soon, although I wish that I had just gone to the interview earlier now rather than applying for another appointment Nevermind, rather this way than risk being turned away after a 2hour journey.

as far as I know you only have to get the I-693 if he has shots still missing otherwise the DS-3025 is enough!

What are the required shots? All he received was MMR (3 vaccines), Polio, and Hep B (which I know is not required). He said he didn't even get a TB test or an Xray, the doctor just asked him questions and determined that he was "healthy". I wonder what he wrote in the sealed envelope!?!?

Hey Kiwiana- if you have some time and $$, go for dinner at Rosemary's. It's a little restaurant about 20 min. off the strip with great food and to die for service. If you do a 3 course prix fixe with wine it's probably about $150 for two. Anywhere else that might be considered expensive, but staying out of a casino for 3 hours could save you a lot more than $150! Anyway, it's a great restaurant, and a really special treat. Surprise your hubby for your twomonth anniversary! Hope you have a great trip.

We applied for AOS/EAD/AP in May so I am in the good thread ! Got biometrics done 2 days ago.

KIWIANA, Thanks for you good desires,

Today was my biometric appointment, at 12pm

I went there about 11:30 and i finished 12pm.

they give me a form with basic information, and a turn was 19 turn , I was waiting about 20 minutes and later they call me and take my biometrisc , a picture so fast, The lady was very nice, that was all. She told me if i maked an advance parole aplication, i need come back for the same process,

Welcome Juliette to May filers! Why do you think you will get RFE for medical exam part? I think i will probably get one as i didn't include a TB skin test but i did send in the I-1693. Let's hope that all will be well and there will be no RFE's

Congrats kellygon on your biometrics appointment! Good to hear all went smoothly. I did not know that when you apply for AP you have to go back and get biometrics done for that too. wow! Maybe that is why my case number for AP does not show up on my online case status yet, because i haven't had biometrics for it yet? interesting!
