Mr Bill would have been about 8 years old then. ;)

Let's put it this way, when I was learning to be an altar boy, the responses were still in Latin, "Mia culpa, mia culpa, mia maxima culpa."

Did you ever spend the night over at the priest's rectory?

You just HAD to find the pervy angle, eh???

I am one of the fiercest advocates for gay rights, y'all know that. Also very involved in education.

Yet, if these chops are a private school; I don't see how I can b1tch about it much.

I agree.

I'm not Catholic, but I'd love to do the liturgy in Latin :) Our pastor and a few others of the congregation would as well, but most wouldn't go for it..

There is a sect of Catholics, I can't remember the name, but they celebrate the liturgy pre-vatican II. We also have a local pastor that is an Irish throwback in Sebastopol. My uncle and cousin were part of the sect, and when my uncle died, they sang "Ave Maria" at the gravesite. I do miss the old High Masses, and the Gregorian chants. Something almost Zen, in a good performance. There are some albums out there, and I found a few performances on Youtube.

It depends if you want your congregation to understand what the #### is going on in the service, or just enjoy a sublime performance. That would rather depend on what you expect from the experience - it's not a concert after all.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Whether it's politics, or religion, it is all about theater. What distinguishes the Catholics from other Christians, by and large, are the Sacraments, and that is great theater. I wonder what the Bard would say.

The Bible types believe people choose to be gay, right?

So if these girls attend a Bible-type school and turn into one of the gheys, then doesn't that mean their brainwashing (ok, I know they call it education but I'm just keepin' it real here) failed?

Instead of expelling their kids, perhaps an investigation into why their brainwashing failed is in order.

(Perhaps posted by someone who has not attended a religious school or Military academy?)

Just so you know, many kids who wind up in "Christian schools" or Military schools are problem kids and the parents

hope the school will do what they couldn't (or didn't).

The other half are as you might suspect, kids from families who want their kids to get a good education in a good environment.

IN neither cases are these institutions designed to do the work of REFORM (though there are some of this nature). They are simply reinforcing the principles the parents claimed on enrollment, they support and model at home.

If the anti-Lesbo training failed (and it sounds like it did) the parents failed first.

In these institutions when students break the rules, they are punished, simple as that.

However, I would bet these two students, were not in a "repentant" state of mind :)

And left the school no choice but to give'em the boot.

IF the parents were a part to this legal suite, that tells you all you need to know.

If these two young lesbos need spiritual help, they should seek it at the Church, not the school.

Too many parents making huge sacrifices to pay tuition, so their kid will be in the learning environment they expect. (amongst private schools, there is a wide range of standards)

Public schools play these games of leaving disruptive kids in class (even Criminal kids)

http://charlotte.creativeloafing.com/gyrob...tent?oid=178633

It's for this reason and a lot more why Privates schools of all types do a healthy business and superior job at a fraction of the price.

The Public school which already has a uniquely hard job, compounds it with the policies only a monopoly could implement ...... and survive.

It's a big world out there and these budding lesbians can find all the support and education their hearts desire .... at the taxpayers tab, if they just seek it.
