We have been approved at NVC on 29th april.

How can we know now when the unterview at the consulate will be?

I-130 USCIS

10/30/2008 - Mailed I-130 to Chicago Lockbox

11/03/2008 - I-130 delivered to Chicago Lockbox

11/07/2008 - NOA1 received

01/13/2009 - Transferred to CSC

02/09/2009 - I-130 Approved

NVC

02/14/2009 - NVC Received/Case number assigned

02/18/2009 - DS-3032 / AOS Bill Generated

02/26/2009 - E-mailed (wiki template) DS-3032

03/06/2009 - DS-3032 approved by NVC via email

03/10/2009 - Affidavit of support invoice paid

03/16/2009 - IV fee paid

04/02/2009 - Sent I-864 and DS-230

04/06/2009 - NVC received I-864 and DS-230

04/18/2009 - RFE for visa J1

04/29/2009 - NVC completed case

06/09/2009 - Medical examination

06/10/2009 - Interview at the consulate. APPROVED

07/25/2009 - POE Miami

How can we know now when the unterview at the consulate will be?

You can call NVC until they tell u ur interview date. We got case complete on April 21st and got our date on April 27th. See my timeline below. I called them every day. Also you will be emailed the interview letter if you gave them an email address, so be on the lookout for that. It should come your way soon ( a few more days give or take). Good luck!

NVC Journey: Finally OVER APRIL 21, 2009!!! INTERVIEW PASSED 05/12/09; VISA IN HAND 05/20/09

03/05/09: K3 and I 130 both approved! FINALLY after 230 emotionally trying days @ VSC!!

03/06/2009 : NVC Received; 03/09/09 Case Number Assigned; 03/10/09 K3 stuck in AP

03/17/2009 : AOS/IV fee bills generated (by email @ 10:00 p.m.); 03/18/2009 : AOS/IV fee bills paid online

03/27/2009 : AOS/DS 230 package sent to NVC; 04/02/2009 : AOS & DS-230 entered into NVC system

04/14/2009 : Found out K3 was forwarded to the consulate in Leb and CR1 stuck in AP; 04/18/09: K3 delivered

04/20/09: WOOHOO CR1 already out of AP; DS 230/AOS accepted with no RFEs!! Sign in failed on NVC payment site.

04/21/09: MAGIC CASE COMPLETE @ 4:30 P.M. THANK U GOD!!!

04/27/09: Hubby passed his medical; CR1 interview assigned for June 17th By NVC; but changed to MAY 12th after emailing embassy on 05/05/09 )
