Finally i could not hold it ...and scheduled an appointment today......The guy told me that k3 are not affected and only Fiance visas are affected.....I still have a feeling that he did not know what he was talking about though !

Now I am just gonna kick back and relax...My doc told me that stress has given my hypothyroidism ;-(

I am not under stress becuase of dates as I just applied and you guys are waiting since March..Actually I waited a long time ...1.5 years for my citizenship so that i could become eligible to apply for him ..and now that dates are stuck on march 5, 2006..I am just losing it :-( I guess my biggest fear is going to India for a month and then get that stupid RFE ......and let sit for 5 weeks :-(

I just infopass just like that ..apoitments were available and I was just sitting idle and stressing about ....Tried to cancel it last night ..and couldn't for some reason !

I hope the guy is right, though I doubt that he is right. You should have asked him, if K-3s are not affected, then why they are processing the I-129F receipt dates of March 5, 06 for the last one and a half month? It is possible that they have not decided yet whether to send RFEs to K-3s regarding IMBRA.

I did actually and he was like "It takes what it takes and look online dates change sometimes" But just now I saw another thread about K3 being delayed due to data capturing requirements. That would make sense....Right ?

However , how hard it is to capture that information.......

Consider that the people at the DOs and SOs do not process visa petitions.

I know superficially what people in other areas of my company do, but I couldn't answer many detailed questions about it.
