My mom is my co-sponsor and I just found out she lost her W-2 a while ago (before she even did her taxes). How important is it for her to supply that to the London consulate? She got the information for her W-2 online when she filed taxes and all that information is also on her tax transcript.

She's going to see if she can get a copy from her administrators but until then... how important is this? I know everyone will say that nothing is actually required for the I-134, but these things must have some say in the interview whether or not they are required.

If it's a 2008 W2 that could pose a problem. It may be too soon to get an IRS transcript for 2008 so she would need to supply copies of the tax return, W2's, and all other schedules, etc.

If it is a W2 for a year where she can get a transcript then the W2 would not be needed.

Yes, it's her 2008 W-2. Do you know how soon can I get a transcript after the return? We really have a few months as we're not expecting the NOA2 until June. I just like to be prepared.
