how long from online noa2 to hardcopy noa2?

i know i have to just wait longer

but i was wondering. we were told via email and online status update that our noa2 was issued april 24th. anyone have experience for how long it takes them to issue the hardcopy? is it possible that our case is already at nvc and if so, how do we find out? i know we call but do we need a reference #?

You should still call the NVC to get your case number (you can give them the receipt number off of the NOA2) and to confirm that the case has been sent on to your foreign consulate. Even though you get a letter from the NVC stating they will send it on within one week, it is delayed for some people.

I actually received my hard copy first on March 4 and received the email on May 5!

I changed my address around June 1 with USCIS and received a mailing confirming the info.

I called in to them on July 27 to make sure they had my address correct (they did) they told me that my petition was approved July 16. I told them I did not receive the NOA2 email or hard copy. They told me they would remail the NOA2 hard copy (I have the reference number).

A couple days ago I received a letter from USCIS dated July 29 that said they had updated my address (which they previously said was correct on the phone).

Today I received this email from USCIS:

So I called them up and got another remail reference number! They said it was probably my NOA2 hard copy.

I wonder how many NOA2 hard copies I will receive?

Sometimes I think they just like messing with people's minds.
