I-864 questions

My fiance got a 221g at his interview. For some reason, the embassy asked me to submit a notarized I-864 and would not accept the I-134 I had provided.

My questions are:

I am using a joint sponsor. She is married and filed married filing jointly on her taxes. In the section on income, does she have to include her husband's income? She makes well above the guidelines herself, and I believe the instructions say that if this is the case, then the household members' income do not have to be included. But I just want to make sure that it is okay NOT to include his financial information. So if this is the case, would the answers to current individual income and household income (items 24a/24c) be the same (just her individual income excluding husband's?) Also, for item 25, would the answer be just HER income for the past 3 years?

We just want to do her income because she is the breadwinner in the family (her husband is self-employed and only makes a few thousand a year in profit from his business). She makes more than enough on her own, so we just want to use her information and have her complete the form.

Last question: I am assuming that she is the only one that has to fill out and sign the form, even though she is married and files her taxes jointly with her husband. Is this correct? Or does he have to fill out the form and sign because his financial information will be on the tax transcripts?

Sorry for the all questions, just confused and want to make sure I get this right so my fiance and I have no problems at our next interview.

Thanks!

She would be the one to fill it out and only her income is counted. If she wants to include other household members they would have to fill out an I-864a. If her income is sufficient it should be no problem
