Concurrently filing I-130 and I-485

Assembling our I-485 package, and tying loose ends now..

Does an I-485 package (concurrently filed with I-130) require our Marriage Certificate and I-94? Didn't see them as document requirements in "I-485 instructions", but have been reading here on VJ that both these documents are being submitted with the AOS package specifically for the I-485.

We do have the Marriage Cert with the concurrently filed I-130, and the copy of the I-94 with the Form I-765 we are applying for along with the I-485.

If you scroll down to I-485 number 6 is a marriage certificate.

You are filing an I-130 for a spouse, this requires a photo-copy of marriage cert to show marriage, and the I-485 is based on the attached I-130 and too needs a photo copy of the marriage cert.

I-485 also requires a photo-copy of I-94 card.

I thought the marriage certificate needed to be certified. At least that's what we sent. That's what it says on the guide.

A Certificate is Certified. ALL USCIS needs is a copy of the certified certificate.

USCIS no longer routinely requires submission of original documents or "certified copies." Instead, ordinary legible photocopies of such documents (including naturalization certificates and alien registration cards) will be acceptable for initial filing and approval of petitions and applications.

I must have missed that when doing research. Oh well they already have our AOS. Thanks for the updated info.
