As my SO said to me....... "A few months to wait is nothing compared to a lifetime of happiness." Really true.

You are not alone my friend.

PEACE.....................

When you love someone from the bottom of your heart; so much that you are willing to give your life for your loved one, time and distance takes a backseat. Only love prevails. And with love in you hearts you can overcome anything.

I think i have seen some one on the forum say theere is a place to check? Its 30 days today and me and my girl have another 4 maybe 5 maybe 7 months to go :crying: Oh god I miss her so.

We all feel this same pain..

Keep busy ! You are not alone..

Great let me know if that works. You may want to patten that too.

As much as it sucks waiting, it does actually go quickly (looking back :)). Once your loved one is here you forget about how much the waiting sucked and appreciate your relationship so much more. Just keep swimming :)

Keeping busy is the best advice... as long as I am doing something it help the time fly... Perhaps try to find things to do to make life easier for your fiance before she arrives... find a store with similar cuisine, find places where she can enjoy her hobbies... etc...

NOOOO - wait for my "mind erasing distilled liquid" -- coming soon....

Once i figure out how to stop falling on the floor after hours of testing it that is... :reading:

 Yes distilled liquid have come in handy on a few occasions...

OP: We have all been there and are all going through this process together! It will be so worth it in the end!! I miss my hunny too! VJ has been a great way for me to keep busy, and meet some wonderful and supportive people, and have a few laughs along the way! I don't know what I would have done without it!

I've got to say.....I was dreading how long this process was going to take, and it has gone so quickly for me.

I think it is hardest at the beginning of the journey, and as the months pass it eases up slightly because you drift into how things were before you filed.

Hang in there, all will be well soon and before you know it you'll have more prep to do than you have time to. Use this time effectively and start preparing for what is to come.

Now.....I know i said it had gone by quickly but I still miss my SO sooo much, so....I would be willing to be a guinea pig for that magic distilled liquid :D

Well, there is no way to know how long YOUR particular case will take, but Igors list will give you an approximation. Your timeline contains an estimate for adjudication (receipt of NOA2 approval) ... yours says:

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between July 26, 2009 and August 5, 2009

After adjudication it will probably take another 2..3 mo to have the interview & get the visa.

...

Just don't bank on what Igor's list says. :star:

November 19, 2007 - Met

November 25, 2008 - Engaged

November 25, 2009 - Married

November 24, 2011 - Baby due!
