Hi,

What is the type of your visa?

PETITIONER is the US citizen who will get you here in the US, you are the BENEFICIARY

In immigration law, a petitioner is a U.S. resident or business who makes a formal request that a foreign national be allowed to enter the United States. The foreign national is called the "beneficiary."

I believe you will need a sponsor (US Resident or citizen to provide an I-864) for the green-card, I would list their address as where you will be living and where you will have the green-card sent to.

If i have won a visa on the gren card lottery why do i need a sponser. I am not going there to be sponsered by a person or company for work and not currently living there.

Here is what DOS has on this, you will need to demonstrate that you will not become a charge of the state, (Go on Welfare)

Other Immigrant Categories - When an I-134 May be Needed

Do applicants who are applying for an immigrant visa in a visa category that does not require the I-864 Affidavit of Support, such as the diversity immigrant visa, need to meet the public charge provisions of Section 213A of the INA?

Consular officers will review immigrant visa applicants whose visa categories do not require the I-864 under the public charge guidelines in Section 212(a)(4) of the Immigration and Nationality Act. The applicants must show that they will not become a public charge. A consular officer may ask for an Affidavit of Support, Form I-134 and supporting documents. The sponsor will need to show income at 100 percent of the federal poverty guidelines for household size, not the 125 percent required under Section 213A of the INA.

So an I-864 wont be needed however they may request that you have a US citizen or resident provide an I-134 to sponsor your visa.

Only a DV visa will be issued, and ONLY if you use the visa and enter the USA will a green-card be issued, you can change the address where the card should be sent if and when you enter the USA bu giving this information to the POE officer.
