For those for whom this has not worked out, usually the case is not shipped right after your case is closed. Nor is it shipped right after the interview date is set.

Our case was closed on May 27th and interview date was set on June1st for July, however, case is still with NVC.

Even though NVC had told me the case gets shipped out right within 2 days after the interview date has been scheduled.

So if you wish to track it, the best thing is to find out when case has been shipped from NVC and then track it

I tried this for a 2 week time frame each time adjusting the tracking number with the correct day, for instance EXP08JUN2009A, started with this date and continued on till today with "no shipments found". Am I doing something wrong?

I was doing that as well in the beginning and getting the same response.. Someone told me to put in like this and it worked finally:

EXP 08 Jun 2009A

The shipment pick up date to select would be the next day Jun 9.

i dont think its working for me i tried exactly like you said to do it with the dates, i even changed them a little bit too to see if it would show up but it doesnt seem to be showing up...

i had emailed MTL and they told me they dont have it yet but they have the electronic copy. they will send packet 3 when they get the actual paper file. that was today the 23rd june. NVC told me they sent it on 17th of june. there was 2-3 MTL cases but if MTL doesnt have mine yet then i dont think any of thos cases are mine as they say they have all been recieved?

It appears they have changed the formatting. Formatted as EXP05JUN2009A works up until June 5th. Formatted as EXP 09 JUN 2009A works for the dates after that.

Ok I have a question... when i called nvc they said my case was shipped out on June 29... now when I put june 29, I see my consulate, but when I put june 28 it says no shipments found? I checked june 30 and there are no petitions sent to my consulate but there are other petitions sent out. So what conclusion should I make out of this?

June 28th was a Sunday, they probably weren't dong business then. In your case I'd think yours would be the 29th.

The date code needs to be for the previous business day. Example.. if it shipped today 10/16/2009 the ref code would be EXP15 OCT 2009A

There are 3 letter codes.. A, B and C.. each needs to be run individually. The ref code EXP15 OCT 2009A will only yield results of shipments from today. mondays code will be EXP16 OCT 2009A
