I just tried checking for that entire week (10-14) and didn't find anything to London. Are you sure the case was sent on Oct 13? You asked multiple operators about the date?

My cases tracking reference was dated almost a week before NVC says it was sent. Try expanding your days to a bit further back

It took me some time to figure out how to use this as the site seems not to match the directions. I took a screen shot of what worked for me today so that others may not have to spend all the time to have to glean the information from this thread.

it appears that they process your case for shipping the day before but you cannot see the shipped package until it is picked up the day after.

if your case was sent on April 20, it was processed on April 19 therefore u should put april 19 in your reference search

but try both dates just in case because sometimes they can process things last minute and they will be processed and sent the same day

Aha, super useful!

Any method of tracking our cases helps us (mentally).

Misha & Ira, thanks for the great screenshot!

@leishi and @dalatian -

You can't be 100% sure that the case you see is yours, so it theoretically "worked" for me that I found a case that left the US and arrived in Spain in a reasonable timeline.

When you are on the DHL site that is shown in the screenshot, enter "EXP 20 MAR 2012A" If that doesn't work, try "EXP 19 MAR 2012A" or 21, or 18...just keep changing the number.

When you say it doesn't work, do you mean that you don't get ANY results? Or that you're not finding a case that matches yours?

I have to say I'm grateful for this little trick because I was under the impression that my petition left on the 19th of April because that is when I called NVC and they told me my case was sent. However, when I started playing around with the dates I found out the shipment left Boston bound for Dakar on the 17th. It made it to Dakar on the 20th. So if it is the right package, my petition should be at the Dakar Embassy on Monday morning. That's what's up!!! Timing is everything for us because my fiance has to get a police report from Nigeria and its only good for 3 months. I didn't want him to get it too soon and have it expire. So now, we will just be praying that we get a fast interview date! Good luck to all!!! :P:dance::thumbs:

Thank you so much for posting a screen shot.

I am not 100% sure it is ours, but we got the email from NVC saying that they have all the documents necessary to complete our case and we will be contacted when an interview date is scheduled.

Tried the date we received the email and the search turned up nothing, but tried again with 1 day before we received the email and found only 2 cases, 1 going to MTL and the other to BC....So I can only hope that the one heading to MTL is ours. AS of right now we are still waiting for an interview date to be scheduled. :whistle:
