Hello!

My fiance is going to have his medical soon in London, and I was trying to find some reviews of people's experiences at their medicals in London. I know where the reviews of the embassy interviews are, but is there a place for reviews of the medicals?

Thanks!

After a brief wait, I stripped off, changed into a gown and provided a urine sample. I then had my chest x-rayed and was examined by the doctor, who took a blood sample asked me a few questions and did a standard examination, e.g. shone a torch in my eyes, ears and throat, tested knee reflexes, weighed me, etc. I then went into another room and had a tetanus shot, which was due. All in all, pretty painless. I understand they screen you for HIV, hepatitis and TB (hence chest x-ray). The results are forwarded to the US government medics prior to the visa being issued. Certain vaccinations are necessary, so make sure you have confirmation from your general practitioner.
