So DoS confirmed that Montreal sent our packet 3 but could not confirm the date. I'm going to assume that it was sent on Friday, sometime after I called. So I should receive packet 3 before month-end. Yay! Will keep you updated! :thumbs:

DoS confirmed our packet was sent to Sydney (and no they wouldn't confirm the date either but I assume it was the 28th). Your timeline says the Packet 3 was mailed out to you, can you tell me how you found this out?

I called DoS again and they were able to confirm the date it was sent out. It might take about a week after it gets to the consulate for the consulate to record your case in their system. It took mine about 5 business days to get it into the Montreal system. After about a week, you can call DoS again to ask if your case is in the consulate system.

I Called NVC and they sent the case to the Embassy today!!!! And on DHL's website it says a packaged was picked up at 4:06pm headed to Mumbai! Hope that is mine!!!!!!!!!!!

Packet 3 Received : 2009-10-07

Interview ... WAIVED? Never heard of this, but they didn't even interview him, just told him pick up his visa the next day.

Current Status: Interview ... waived ... I guess :) They just took his fingerprints and documents and told him everything was in order and he should pick up his visa tomorrow! WOW

I can't believe it's only been 7 months since we filed ... seems like an eternity!

Hey Ladies... I'm glad to hear that you got out of the NVC.... hopefully you get interviews and visa on hand soon :D ......

Regarding the storms I hope that the people who had suffered are able to get back up.... and nothing like this happens again....

yes ladonna glad we out of ap.so sad about the big storm flooding in manila..were not affected at storm here in davao so i thankful..i prayed about those victims in manila big storm and much flooding.. :(

Congrats, eltemp...what happened to your packet 3?

In Venezuela they do not follow the same procedure... they sent the required paperwork list on the email to my fiancee, so that she can have everything ready when she goes for her interview.... I am trying to see if I can find a tickets for a good deal to go to the interview with her... I'll keep you guys posted....

Eltemp, lucky you.....our consulate tells us 4-6 months after they receive packet 3...I'm hoping that's all just talk, and we'll get a December interview *fingers crossed*
