I keep calling the NVC and keeping getting a busy signal...603-334-0700 is the number, right?

Anyone else experiencing this?

Any CONGRATS to everyone getting NOA2s, LilMermaid - we're pulling for you and all the other outstanding for NOA2.

yes, i'm experiencing it too. i've calling since 8am, still haven't goten through.

Okay finally got through...they said they didn't have my case yet (my NOA2 date is 9/18) and it takes 2-4 weeks sometimes...will try again tomorrow.

I got approved today!!! Oddly enough I did not get the email or text message even though I was set up to receive both. My fiancee got his email lol. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! My nerves feel so much better. I know this isn't a guarantee but if round 1 thought I had sufficient evidence of a bona fide relationship, round 2 should be so much easier since he has most of the evidence lol. They are not gonna wanna see him walk into that interview with all the ####### he has hahaha.....YAY!!! I'm so happy!!!!

January 2009 - K-1 Denied by the consulate

January 2011 - Moved to India - Yikes!

October 2011 - DCF filing rejected by overzealous employee at the embassy

December 2011 - Tourist visa denied (not surprising)

March 2012 - CR1/IR1 process started

May 1, 2012 - RFE and some of our information was entered into the computer wrong by the CSC

Read about all the shenanigans of my relationship at American Punjaban PI

Just spoke to my attorney . He got RFE in a mail . I didnt get it yet since I am at work. He forgot to check one box ina whole application . Unreal . So he checked signed and sent it by Fedex right away . Anyone here had same issue? Non meaningful box to be checked . How long it took to get NOA2 after that ? Thanks for a response .

VSC victim... I am so sorry to hear this... but to be honest after and RFE is very difficult to predict.... some people might have it done fast others dont... is the same as timeframes for your regular processing time (impossible to predict)... my suggestion is look in the approved area for the timeline option here in VJ (for people who got an RFE) and try to guess an estimate of when should you receive something....

Good luck!!!

is there any body filling for a fiance in france on here?

Licia,

Use the timeline function to search for country and type of visa.. it will help you to find other people who applied and live in France.... good luck!

Eltemp, how do i do that?

Alright... so here is the way of tracking your case if it came out of NVC (it was pass down to me from Tina, thanks Tina :)).... please copy and paste it on a text file or something and keep it so that you can access it easily... also to avoid clogging the forum....

1) 2 days after NOA2, starting calling NVC: 603-334-0700 press 1 then 5.

2) Once NVC has your case, they assign a new case #. Ask them what date they sent your file to the embassy & also for the NVC case #.

3) Once you know the date NVC sent off the file, track it at DHL's website: http://track.dhl-usa.com/TrackByRef.asp?nav=TrackByRef For the reference code, enter EXP 10 JUL 2009A (adjust using dates just before the date NVC told you), with a shipping range of that day to a few days later (July 13 - July 14 worked for the example above). Look for shipments to your beneficiary's embassy.

4) To find out if the embassy processed the packet, call the Dept of State before 5pm: 202-663-1225 press 1 then 0

5) You can also call the DoS to find out your interview date once you believe the embassy has scheduled it.

Now Licia...

Go to this link

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/filterlist.php?cfl=

and just fill out the different boxes pertaining to your inquiry.... (be mindful that the more specific your search is, the less results you'll find, but maybe more accurate to your search purpose) ....I hope it helps....

Hey USA+CO....

If you have access to your case online... call USCIS and ask about your case.... explain how many days you have left until the 5 months deadline arrives... plus keep in mind that the USCIS website says when they show number of months it means they are processing it in less time... officers are not the smartest and most honest people on the planet, so you want get your facts straight before calling to avoid being lied to ...so that they can get you of their backs....

On the other hand, if you cannot see your case online yet... please send an email to the VSC... their e-mail address is on the USCIS website... for follow up... and they should reply back within 2-3 days... telling you the status of your case and also that your case should be available on the website after a couple of days..... I hope this helps... if you want more detailed information... send me a PM and I'll do my best to help you....

Regards....
