Ths for the kind words....we called August 31 about an address change and they finally put our case online on Sept 1. They sent out a letter confirming the address change the say and then we were touched on Sept 2nd. Nothing since then and when we had called we were told that we hadn't even been assigned to anyone yet. Hoping it was assigned on Sept 2nd and at least someone has it on their desk even though they haven't done squat with it yet.

Lil'mermaid.... is your case available on the website??? if so... then just call to ask about your case, it looks like you do because you are using terms such as "touched".... if not then send an email to VSC to get your case on the website....

My advice is just to call.... you are very close to the 5 months deadline... and those 5 minutes of your time migth be worth the wait....

Hey Guys,

So here is an update on the NVC issue....

I called and talked to a manager who according to her, they were going to look for the information... from my email... so she said to call by Friday...let's hope they get this taken care by friday or sooner! because I made her understand that is not my mistake.. and also that I-129F has a timeframe... so if they are not fully processed by a certain timeframe we have to do everything all over again!!! anyhow... good luck ony our processes guys... keep us posted on any information...

I keep calling the NVC and keeping getting a busy signal...603-334-0700 is the number, right?

Anyone else experiencing this?

Any CONGRATS to everyone getting NOA2s, LilMermaid - we're pulling for you and all the other outstanding for NOA2.

Also, has anyone been able to see yesterday's packages on DHL's website using this reference number: EXP 21 SEP 2009A? I have not.

And I noticed some packages that are 15 lbs, wow that is a lot of paper. I think when I sent mine in my to VSC it was about 3-5 lbs.

DND2009 and sweetgurl... as we all three have come to realize that NVC is as "good" as USCIS.... DND keep calling eventually you'll reach them and be on hold after a brief message to get into the actual automated center for customer service... once you get there press "1" and then "5"....

and the AP thing...is just BS what are they processing? anyhow... just give them a couple of days... and when you call insist on talking to a manager... regular customer reps arent the smartest people on the planet, nor they can do much than just read what is on their computer screen....so talk to a manager and tell them that your case has a timeframe for approval... and I dont know how long it takes for an interview in your embassy... but that has to be taken into consideration... maybe that might help!!

Just spoke to my attorney . He got RFE in a mail . I didnt get it yet since I am at work. He forgot to check one box ina whole application . Unreal . So he checked signed and sent it by Fedex right away . Anyone here had same issue? Non meaningful box to be checked . How long it took to get NOA2 after that ? Thanks for a response .

VSC victim... I am so sorry to hear this... but to be honest after and RFE is very difficult to predict.... some people might have it done fast others dont... is the same as timeframes for your regular processing time (impossible to predict)... my suggestion is look in the approved area for the timeline option here in VJ (for people who got an RFE) and try to guess an estimate of when should you receive something....

Good luck!!!

is there any body filling for a fiance in france on here?

Licia,

Use the timeline function to search for country and type of visa.. it will help you to find other people who applied and live in France.... good luck!
