October filer checking in. Wish everyone a safe and speedy journey! Be prepared for delays and if they don't happen, all the better! We received NOA2 at the end of February and we are still awaiting an interview; though it appears to be a Bangkok specific issue, suprises can pop up at any point along the way.

What will carry you through is the love between you and your fiancé(e). This process has made my fiancée and myself even closer and for that I am grateful.

Met my Fiancee: 1998 when i was a tutor in a High

1998 December: Became friends and started talking

2000 : Lost Contact and never met again

2003: Traveled to the States and still not talking

2005: Traveled back home and we met again ( serious here)

2007: I made up my mind that she is "the one"

2007 December 27th: Proposed to her

2009 May 12th: sent in the 1-129F for her

2009 May 19th: Receipt of NOA1

Sept 15th : NOA2 Approved email received

Sept 22nd: NOA2 Hard Copy received

Sept 16th: Package sent to NVC

Sept 17th: Package Received at NVC

Sept 21st: Package sent to Local Embassy.

Sept 26th : NVC Approval Letter received in the mail

Sept 28th: Package Delivered at Local Embassy (Lagos Nigeria)....Signed by Ben Obi by 10.50am.....yahooo..time to get ready for interview

NOV 20TH: Interview Date by 7.am...too early and i wonder what my woman will do since she is like 6hrs from the Location

MEDICAL: Done on 12th

Interview: PASSED on 20th without stress and not much questions......Glory be to God

Visa Picked up: Nov. 27th

Wedding: Dec 31st..... Got wedded and was fabulous

January 16th..... Wife entered US with me through IAD ,,,,,,NO EAD received

January 20th..... Got our Marriage License

February 14th .....Civil Marriage Date

I'm not sure what they do with money orders and how you'd check. I only know that if you sent them a check, at the back they would stamp your receipt number. Did you see a debit of $455 from your bank account?

Hey just to let you know I used a money order to and all you have to do is call your post office where you got the money order from and give them the number and they will look it up for you or wherever you bought it they will have a way to find out if it has been cashed

i just got my noa1 today i sign up on uscis and i was able to check my status . make sure u read everything how to sign up. after i did it i closed it and re open it to make sure it work and it did. good luck
