Well...

I call this morning to NVC and they still have not gotten my case... :angry: ... so I cannot get my NVC case number... which one of you who got their NOA2 approved last week... has your case already at NVC???

Hello eltemp, same here I just called the nvc just a few minutes ago and they stated that they haven't received it and to allow two to three weeks after the notice date. However, looking at the time line data it seems that a few people have already received nvc confirmation but a lot of September noa2's still lack nvc confirmation. :blink:

Yes I called and nothing... and I totally agree with you it kind of ticks me off to see that people do not update the info about NVC, or maybe nobody gotten it yet... but I am just waiting to get the case # because for Venezuela with that info I can request the appointment (they do not send any packages to the beneficiary)... otherwise I dont mind waiting to get the info.... but the problem is until I dont have the case I can't do anything else...I'll just call tonight... see if they got it today or something... well good luck...and let me know when they get yours

1-129F Journey:

Met my Fiancee: 1998 when i was a tutor in a High

1998 December: Became friends and started talking

2000 : Lost Contact and never met again

2003: Traveled to the States and still not talking

2005: Traveled back home and we met again ( serious here)

2007: I made up my mind that she is "the one"

2007 December 27th: Proposed to her

2009 May 12th: sent in the 1-129F for her

2009 May 19th: Receipt of NOA1

Sept 15th : NOA2 Approved email received

Sept 22nd: NOA2 Hard Copy received

Sept 16th: Package sent to NVC

Sept 17th: Package Received at NVC

Sept 21st: Package sent to Local Embassy.

Sept 26th : NVC Approval Letter received in the mail

Sept 28th: Package Delivered at Local Embassy (Lagos Nigeria)....Signed by Ben Obi by 10.50am.....yahooo..time to get ready for interview

NOV 20TH: Interview Date by 7.am...too early and i wonder what my woman will do since she is like 6hrs from the Location

MEDICAL: Done on 12th

Interview: PASSED on 20th without stress and not much questions......Glory be to God

Visa Picked up: Nov. 27th

Wedding: Dec 31st..... Got wedded and was fabulous

January 16th..... Wife entered US with me through IAD ,,,,,,NO EAD received

January 20th..... Got our Marriage License

February 14th .....Civil Marriage Date

I hope you are right... I really want to set the interview ASAP.... I'll call tonight... see if they got it... bc on USCIS shows as they sent the case I guess on the 17th because I had a touch that day.... so today is two days hopefully tonight It will be there...good luck on your process as well!!!

Congratulations! I hope the next steps move faster for you ... my NOA2 came quicker than the predicted 5 months, but now it seems our petition is lost somewhere. DHL site says it was delivered to Naples last Thursday, but Naples doesn't have it in their system yet... I think they're having coffee and a nice little tete-a-tete while our fate hangs in the balance. Gotta love the bureaucracy!

Interview ... WAIVED? Never heard of this, but they didn't even interview him, just told him pick up his visa the next day.

Current Status: Interview ... waived ... I guess :) They just took his fingerprints and documents and told him everything was in order and he should pick up his visa tomorrow! WOW

I can't believe it's only been 7 months since we filed ... seems like an eternity!

mine took 3 days from USCIS to NVC, then 10 days from NVC to consulate, now consulate appears sitting on their hands ... happy for you they allow you to call the consulate and set an appointment. Those bureaucrats in Naples don't even give you a number to call, except one where you have to pay 15 euro, and the call ends up in Germany at a processing center where they know nothing. I hate bureaucracy... they should contract these services out to a private enterprise, then they'd get something done quicker.

Thanks for the wishes... but yeah the only reason why I can send an email and request interview is because the postal service in Venezuela is so bad, that the embassy preffers send you an email with the information and then you just take all the stuff to the interview.... I hope it works to our advantange.... I really expect to get my NOA2 before wednesday and also my case number....

so there is no way for you to communicate with the consulate in Napoli? email or something??

HELLO GUYS...I JUST FOUND FROM COLLEAGUES HERE THAT IF YOUR FIANCEE IS ENTERING THE US...SHE/HE SHOULD GO THROUGH NYC AIRPORT..BECAUSE THIS AIRPORT STAMP HE/SHE PASSPORT AN AUTHORIZATION FOR AN EMPLOYMENT IMMEDIATELY DURING ENTRY. THIS IS FROM A RELIABLE SOURCE WHO HAVE DONE THIS. DON;T KNOW ABOUT OTHER AIRPORTS

and 2big.... that sounds pretty cool about the NYC POE, but for my case there is not flight from VE-NYC... in your case it's easier because on the east coast NYC (JFK) is the airport with most flights to Africa... and again thanks for the wishes.. I'll call once I get home back from work.. see if mine got there!
